We had a bento bowl with salmon and tuna and the salmon roll with chefs special. Large portions, fair prices, food was yummy, service was great and very friendly and helpful!

Food is very delicious . It’s our second time here . Rolls are amazing and today we’ve tried the udon soup which was very good . This place is small but still feels so cozy . Service is great . Definitely worth it

We recently moved to Austin, and tried to find good restaurants around area. This is one of my favorite, we visited this place 3 times already after our first visit 2 weeks ago. I traveled a lot to Japan for the love of Sushi and this place you can taste Sushi similar to what you can eat at Fukuoka or Osaka. Ahi tower and Udong is also tasty. They provide less salty and fresh ingredients for the dishes but still full of flavor. Healthy and tasty!
The hall is small and has few tables but right in front of the shop is Aboretum sitting area with beautiful park view.
Definitely going to visit again.

Hanara is hands-down one of my favorite local restaurants! The food is always fresh and delicious, beautifully plated, and served quickly. The restaurant itself is clean, quiet, and has such a relaxing ambiance with great music—perfect for a date night or just a nice meal out. On top of that, the staff is consistently kind, welcoming, and extremely friendly, which makes every visit even better. 10/10, I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write a review! I LOVE this place. It got me through high school and when I worked in the area, at one point I went everyday and the owners are so sweet and amazing. Beside great hospitality, the food is fantastic, fresh and fast, my usual California roll always hits the spot. Also, it is one of the remaining cheaper sushi spots which is an added bonus. I highly recommend you visit this magical place!!

The quality and taste of the sushi rolls here is the best. We’ve tried many others,, including several nearby, and they cannot compete. Hanara is superb. From the jalapeno bombs and brussel sprouts as well as miso soup for appetizers, to the amazing sushi rolls (stuffed very full) and bento boxes or ramen, it is all terrific.The hospitality is top-notch too. The family that runs this business is helpful, kind, patient and skiled. We love Hanara all the way around.

I’m from Hawaii where we have a lot of great sushi places, I’ve been searching for a place I really love here in Austin and I think I found one of them. The staff are really nice and I think it’s really cool that they will serve you your food outside. The inside is a cool little loft. The fish were fresh and food flavorful. The rice was perfect and that is huge because that’s one of the problems I’ve been having in Austin when it comes to sushi. This place is worth a try if you love sushi highly highly recommended.

Our family loves this restaurant. My teenage boys stop in for the delicious healthy food so often that the owner knows my teenage boys personally and she treats them and us as family. She comes out to always greet us warmly and often throws in a free appetizer.

Delightfully surprised! The area of town where this is located is a not where you would expect such good quality sushi, maybe I am biased, willing to admit it. We ordered some sushi and kitchen menus, were really impressed with everything we got. Family owned business and they are all so kind. Thank you for giving us good memory.
