The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor.
One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste.
I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations.
Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. It elevated the sushi perfectly and showed the thoughtfulness that goes into the small details here.
Overall, this restaurant is a real gem. From the fresh and delicious sushi to the beautifully cut avocado, the attentive chef, excellent service, and even the little touches like the quality ginger, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner!

We visited this sushi restaurant yesterday with our family to celebrate the end of the school year for our kids — and it couldn’t have been a better choice! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was attentive and friendly, and the sushi… absolutely delicious! Every roll was fresh and beautifully presented.
It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. Perfect for family celebrations or just a relaxing night out. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!

I was craving sushi but I couldn’t sit in so I got this order to go. This review based off of a pick up order, next time I’ll try to dine in.
I ordered their salmon skin salad and their rainbow roll. The salmon skin salad was pretty good overall with a whole lot of salmon skin pieces. The rainbow roll was solid and delicious. Solid fish quality and rice, seaweed were perfect.
I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items because it was a great meal overall.

Hidden gem! The food here was amazing. I had spicy tuna roll, pork gyoza, and teriyaki chicken and all were among the best I’ve ever had. Great service as well. 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food. Best meal I’ve had in a while. Kudos to the chef and staff. Great job!

We have loved this place since we lived in the neighborhood years ago and had the pleasure of dining in more recently. The food is still as fantastic as we remembered. Our favorites are the cucumber sunomono, classic nigiri, and this crispy albacore roll. Everything was just as good as we remembered. Its position in a grocery store mall seems a little out of place, but it is definitely worth the drive, and the views in the area are gorgeous, too.

Come for the Sushi, try to stay unless they kick you out. I arrived 15 minutes before closing, Lunch, the first words out of the manager’s mouth was not “Welcome, just one today, good to see you again!” Instead he said we are taking last call right now.
The Sushi is always great, I’ve been coming for years now. Sometimes for lunch and dinner in the same day. Sometimes 3-4 times a week. If the Fish wasn’t prepared and sourced so well I’d be done with Hanami.

We come here several times a month for at least 8 years. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. They work with our gluten free needs (tamari sauce) and the prices are average for the area.

Ordered take out on 7/30 for 130$ at the end of the day. Both my husband and I ate it, went to bed and felt sick ALL night long. In the morning we both had diarrhea and felt weak. Took an entire day to recoup enough strength to function again. Called restaurant and was asked what we ate BEFORE ordering from a restaurant… I had breakfast at home and my husband skipped breakfast, so that was the ONLY meal he had had all day that day. When I asked for a refund of our money , another person took the phone and interrupting me started to question again and then told me that since no one else came by complaining, I just show a DRS note to prove that my last meal of the day made me THAT sick. I asked him if he thinks that I’m making up and lying about the whole situation, he kept insisting that it’s food I ate many hours beforehand that’s responsible for the resulting problem. Again, kept yelling over me and demanded that I show a note from the DR. Basically never actually speaking to me like a manager/owner operator should. I told him that my next phone call will be to a Health Department and he will get his food investigated. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT AT THIS or any other local sushi places!!!!!

The karaage chicken was different than what I am used to, which is fine.
I could be wrong.. but they didn’t give any rice with our meat dishes.
Price was higher than the typically quick food joint, so quality is going to be better. With that, smaller portions which didn’t satisfy me enough.
It is a great place and next time I’m in the area, I would like to check it out again.
