This is a wonderful addition to the Lawrence/Fort Ben area’s food scene. It’s a food truck that’s parked right next to the Marathon Gas station on N Franklin Rd. I tried it today for the first time and it was really good. When I walked up I immediately could smell the aroma of garlic butter which was very pleasing and ordered the teriyaki chicken meal with fried rice and vegetables. It was about $12 dollars or so after tax and I was given a beeper to let me know when the food was ready. I sat in the car to wait for my meal and after a very short time it alerted me that it was ready. The portion was really large and the flavor was just as big. I could really taste the flavor of the grill on the rice. It was even better with the yummy yummy sauce they gave me with the food. Super good food and worth the trip to try it.

This was 1st time visiting and my 2nd time enjoying a meal from this establishment. Attempted to grab a “Big Den Den” meal but they had just ran out of noodles, the owner was very accommodating and offered other options that were just as good along with a side of Rangoon. Overall the food was amazing and did not disappoint at all . The staff was also very pleasant and I loved ❤ thier energy.
If you decide to go I suggest go earlier than later. Must definitely worth the wait and I drove all the way from shelbyville indiana and when i got home the food was still nice and hot and .

These are large portions, it’s not nasty, I’ve had this type of food before from other places. I’m not sure I’m going to drive all the way over here just for this. It’s a place just like this by my house. There has to be something that makes you stand out from the rest. It’s the same taste, in my opinion.

I was highly disappointed with the quality and the service from this establishment this evening I came and ordered a steak and shrimp dinner. I wonder why y’all had took so long with my order but it all makes sense now and it was right before you guys closed and the quality of the meal you guys ran out of vegetables y’all explained that to me and told me you gave me, well I thought it was for my mom‘s platter because I ordered extra vegetables so I thought that we wouldn’t get the extra vegetables, yall gave us extra rice but that wasn’t the case. Neither one of us got vegetables at all and I got five pieces of shrimp and I have 12 pieces of chopped up itty-bitty steak steak. I understand that you guys were closing, but if you did not have the ingredients for that, you guys should have, let me know that to make the choice if I wanted to still receive or eat this food because I would’ve declined and I wouldn’t have purchased a platter. I’m highly disappointed and I will never return and I’m adding the pictures to show the proof.

Small protein portions. Salmon over cooked. Not shy with the very dry rice portion. Veggies were good. Crab rangoons were good . 1 hr wait time from time of purchase till items in hand. No call ahead ordering available.

The only thing I missed was the clanging of the chef juggling cooking utensils while cooking in front of me at a famous restaurant. Instead I was at home enjoying an incredible meal of hibachi steak and shrimp, vegetables and the BEST fried rice I’ve ever had! My husband had the hibachi chicken which was equally as good. We also ordered the dumpling and egg roll appetizer. Both were very good, best egg rolls I’ve had in a very long time. I could go on, but this is a place everyone should try! BTW, due to the huge portions…the leftovers were delicious for breakfast!
