First time trying this place and it was just ok.
We ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi.
The shrimp lacked flavor and the portion is approximately 6 pieces. The chicken portion is very small approximately three teaspoons.
However, they are super generous with the rice portion approximately 2 to 3 cups.
The shrimp had no flavor, chicken was flavored good, but 3 bites and it was gone.
The rice had a very overpowering butter and curry flavor.
It was just ok we stopped by because of the hype posted by social media reviews. Maybe others will feel differently.
They definitely should increase their meat portions, considering the price for each meal.
You are deceived in thinking because of the tied to go bag. “Oh this is heavy”, thinking it’s a lot of food, only to realize it’s a huge portion of rice with scare meat.

New Business, Day 2 officially open. The food looks and tastes good which is the important aspect. If you want hibachi style foods without the hibachi experience then this is up your alley. The lady at the counter was super nice and accurately took our order, however they didn’t make our order correct. We were up charged for noodles and received rice. The small space and busy crowd didn’t really allow for checking the food plus they tied up the bag. We just took the L and survived on fried rice, it was plenty tasty. We waited about 40 minutes for our food, so currently there’s not a lot of express in the hibachi express but it was also dinner time at a newly opened business on a Friday. I’m sure they’ll work out there issues as time moves forward. I think the biggest issue I had was how loud the music was, it’s a small counter restaurant with old tables if you choose to eat there but it was very difficult to converse within the space. The graffiti decor in an interesting take and helps give the place an interesting twist but there’s just a lot lacking for me from the space.

The food is very good! We had the lunch box which is offered 11-2:30 daily but includes the meat, veggies, rice and an egg roll for $12.95. Definitely meant to be more of an “express” experience but indoor dining is offered. As others have said, the indoor dining area is kind of small and food is served and set up as carry out to boxed with plastic ware etc but there’s an option to dine in. Overall food was definitely worth it, staff was welcoming, and pretty cool environment.

We drove across town to try this place, and we’re not disappointed. At first, we thought it was kind of expensive…until we got our food. They serve everything to go style right away, which for a small place like this, is kind of nice. There is no need to wait for a to-go box. Once you’ve had enough, you just close up your box and head out. That is, if you can close your box. They piled so much food into this container that they literally had to tape the lid down, and it was bulging. My wife and I each ordered our own meal, which was kind of a mistake because hers alone could have easily fed 3 or 4 people. I got Big Den Den Burrito, and she got the Big Den Den meal. Which is essentially the same thing, only mine was in burrito form. It had fried rice, noodles, chicken, steak, and shrimp. I have no idea how they rolled this huge thing up, but they did. And it was so good. At first, I wasn’t prepared for those types of flavors in a burrito, but It was amazing, a little tough to eat but only because it was so big. I had to use a fork a few times to dig out some filling before each bite. The fried rice inside was cooked well, and the noodles had a mild sweet flavor that went well with the seasoned shrimp. My wife and I both loved it and will absolutely be making that 40-45 min drive again in the near future. Give these folks a try if you haven’t already, and if you’re going with just one other person, I would highly recommend ordering one Big Den Den meal and sharing it. It’ll be more than enough for two, and will save you some money.

Not a huge fan. I LOVE hibachi, but this lacked a lot. Rice has a ton of black pepper in it… odd. The hibachi chicken was more of a teriyaki chicken. Very soupy sauce style. The hibachi shrimp was also over peppered, also has more of a teriyaki flavor. The yum yum sauce has a weird flavor, more like 100 Island dressing and kind of runny. All the flavors were off. Disappointed seeing as I spent $30 for lunch and didn’t want to finish my items.
Our wait was short and staff were friendly. Restaurant looked clean.

I had no issues with the atmosphere or the service. The staff was friendly, and everything seemed fine at first. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing.
The steak was overcooked, dry, and had almost no seasoning. It was so tough that it tasted rubbery. The shrimp were cooked properly, but they also lacked flavor. Portion-wise, I was surprised. Others have mentioned generous portions, but I received only four shrimp and about 64 grams of steak. The largest portion on the plate was a mound of rice.
Speaking of the rice, it was very underwhelming. The only noticeable flavor was soy sauce. There were no added ingredients like egg, vegetables, or anything to give it texture or depth. The egg rolls were also disappointing. They were very vinegar-forward with little flavor otherwise, and although I ordered pork, I could not find any visible meat inside.
I had really been looking forward to trying this place, so spending $30 on a meal that missed the mark across the board was frustrating. Sadly, I will not be returning

It was OK, not bad at all but just OK. I ordered a Burrito and a drink to go, and it took like 20 minutes. It seemed like a while for a Burrito that’s filled with stir-fry. The burrito was huge, absolutely stuffed, very heavy. You’re probably not going to eat this by hand. It tasted good, nothing negative to report there, but just OK. It came with a sauce on the side that I think is usually called a “Boom Boom” sauce, it was good, very sweet. I don’t think it worked for my burrito though. I’d buy again, but i would not crave this.

The food was phenomenal and a huge portion for the price. They were so accommodating and even gave the kids a Christmas gift! Can’t wait to come back! We had 5 in our party and got hibachi meals, a burrito and an appetizer plus drinks. We will be eating the left overs for at least the next two days the portions were so big!
