This place is truly the best! The fish is great quality and so fresh, and the portions are so generous. The energy here is also remarkable, everyone is so friendly, I love going in there. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. I will never get sushi anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Just recently discovered this place about the month ago. The Yaki Soba noodles and House Special Curry noodles are my favorite. Oh, excellent fried rice. Be sure to try the spicy chicken. I’ve tried quite a few things from the menu and I look forward to going each and every time. I’m there at least twice a week.

Listennnnnn!! We have had sushi from many different places but this place is our ABSOLUTE favorite. Everything is always fresh and we haven’t tried anything we didn’t like. We definitely needed a good sushi spot in the area and this one is it!! I hope they stay around forever!

I visited Hana Sushi recently, based on a friend’s recommendation. Hana Sushi is located in my old neighborhood right off Irvington Ave right across from 7-11 nestled on the outskirts of Newark Ivy Hill section, close to South Orange and Seton Hall University. I picked up the Beef Bulgogi lunch special & spicy tuna tempura roll. I paid a little over $20 and was given a free drink. I love the crunch of the roll and the dipping sauce, which did have a hint of spice. I actually wanted my spicy tuna to be spicy, and it wasn’t! The beef bulgogi was mostly mushrooms, and I love mushrooms, but I wanted more meat. I may come back and try a couple more rolls. Depending on if I am on the area.

Have gotten take out from here several times. The sushi is always really good and at a really good price. I’m a big fan of the sushi lunch specials and I’ve tried several of the chef’s special rolls and they’ve all been really good so far. The lady who is always there when I go to pickup the order is always super friendly and always offers me a free drink with my order.

Hana Sushi amazes me with their consistency. The food here is well prepared, always tastes yummy, and sometimes they include an extra menu item for you to try, free of charge, based on the items you’ve ordered. They’ve always suggest things I’ve added to my order. I love this place!
