This was mine and my boyfriend’s first time visiting Hana Steakhouse in Natchitoches. When we first sat down, we both ordered Dr Pepper, but unfortunately it tasted pretty bad. I switched to Pepsi, which was much better.
When it came time to order food, I asked if I could get a kids hibachi since I was trying to eat cheaper. They told me they absolutely do not allow adults to order kids meals under any circumstances, which I found very strange. I’ve never had an issue doing that at other restaurants.
Our waiter, however, was very sweet and did a great job. He explained to us that the owner is not very nice and that customers need to be careful because the owner will sometimes add random charges to tabs. He also mentioned that he was made to cut his lunch break short just to come serve us, which I thought was pretty horrible and unfair to him.
The food itself was good, and the service from our waiter was good as well. The atmosphere, though, was a bit strange. The music playing in the background was very odd and didn’t really fit the setting.
Overall, while the food and our waiter were good, the strange atmosphere and policies left a bad impression. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back the next time we visit.

Went by here for food for the first time today; went once before but sat out in the courtyard out back and just had drinks. Food was great! Had pot stickers and edamame for appetizers which were good. chicken teriyaki came out piping hot and was good. Jalapeño roll was amazing! Crab, jalapeño, cream cheese, fried with spicy mayo and another sauce.

Been back here several times. That jalapeño roll quickly became a favorite! Have had it every time. Tried their garlic shrimp appetizer yesterday and that was good too. Service has always been good. Have yet to be disappointed here!

Was greeted when we walked in and seated immediately. Ella our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered rangoon appetizer , they were a kittle different but delicious. Tried the sushi pizza, it could have been for two, really interesting and tasted great. Steak and fried rice were incredible.

Towards the end of our meal as we were closing up the to go containers not one but 2 roaches ran across the hibachi table in front of us… had I seen them before I started eating I would have had to leave. Unfortunately this will be my last time eating at the establishment due to the roaches.

I don’t eat sushi but both my girls LOVE it so coming to Hana has always given me limited options… UNTIL I DISCOVERED THE FRIED CHICKEN ROLL!! It’s delicious, 10/10! The gyoza is always great too, that was always my go-to option before. My daughter highly recommends the Naruto Roll.
