love this place. great little hidden gem on a busy road with lots of other restaurants. I’ve been here a handful of times over the last 5 years and the sushi quality is hands down one of the best. I didn’t realize they had Udon soups on the menu and that’s what I got tonight. oh my gosh… it was a giant bowl that came with a salad and some tempura items. I couldn’t even come close to finishing it and will be great for lunch tomorrow! Again, an amazing experience at Hana Matsuri!

I’ve been going to Hana Matsuri for almost six years now and have always had good experiences, barring tonight’s experience. I came in the door and waited almost five minutes to be helped. The staff didn’t even greet or acknowledge me. I ended up just waiting at a table until someone finally came over to help. Normally, I would understand but the only issue is that the next three parties that came in, were immediately assisted and seated with menus. I expressed my disappointment to the waiter but he was very patronizing and didn’t show any concern or express his apologies. I ended up just leaving without ordering. Suffice to say, I would suggest ordering out rather than dining in. The food is absolutely amazing. The service, not so much.

Hana is my favorite sushi restaurant!! I have been coming here for years and have definitely created a regular relationship with the employees. Stephen, Becky, and Chris are my favorite! The reed roll is best. I come about every other week. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommend the miso soup and crispy spicy tuna appetizer. The sushi was delicious, and they are able to make many rolls gluten free (they have real crab rather than imitation). Service was just okay. Ambiance is nice. With how great the quality of the food was, we will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. I would go back again. My server was very good. But the atmosphere was a little bleak. Very empty restaurant. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted and I didn’t see any workers. There’s a nice little piece of paper with marker that says go ahead and seat yourself. I sat myself and saw a beautiful woman sitting at the bar. She looked like she was doing homework and playing on Her phone. After several minutes she turned around. And ask me if I was dining in or taking out. She ran to the back and got one of the other servers. And then hurried back to sit at the bar and get to her phone. She had her back to the entire restaurant. And she still had a table eating. So in between taking them referrals. She would take a load off at the bar. Clearly she had more important things than to provide service and be at work. I’m a truck driver so I’m used to dining alone and sitting on my phone. If you want good sushi, and you wanna go somewhere quiet. With not a whole lot of people. Then this is the place for you. Dancing crab Sushi roll was excellent. The tempera and fried calamari. Was awesome as well.

The staff here is wonderful. The food is just really solid sushi, but they also have some hot rock plates I’d like to try. Parking is really hard and tight, but the restaurant is great.
