If you’re in Burlington, you have to check out HANA Japanese Restaurant. The food was top notch and definitely worth the wait, even though it took a bit longer to arrive. The menu had a great selection of drinks, and I highly recommend trying a bottle of Nigori sake, it’s delicious and reasonably priced!

The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend HANA to anyone visiting. I can’t wait to go back!

I love HANA Japanese restaurant! They’re specialty roles are excellent! Tonight we decided to have a battle between the Godzilla roll and the giant spider roll. For us it was a close call and Godzilla won, but it could’ve gone either way.
Service is effective, though underwhelming at times.
However, we come here for the food. It’s always excellent!

We were in town for a medical procedure and afterwards wanted some dinner. Hana was open and we wanted sushi. We ordered some appetizers and two special rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our meal was great and look forward to coming back again.

I live out of town and still eat at Hana at least once or twice a year with friends and family! The sushi is great and the servers are always attentive and fast.

This place is great! I order to go: Always fresh and precise with a nice variety of fish. They have a diverse selection of appetizers, including squid and octopus balls! Great bento options and fast service. The chefs pay attention to your requests when ordering online, I have never been disappointed here! Top 3 in Burlington for sure for freshness, price and consistency!

Looking at it from the street it seemed like it was closed but when we got there it was pretty busy. We were still thankfully able to get a table.

The service is very attentive and sweet. The lady who helped us out was very kind and helpful.

The portions are huge. Each entree could easily feed two. I had the chicken katsu and got a side of curry sauce and it was delicious. The vegetarian sushi was also great.

We would definitely come back!

Looking at it from the outside, I thought it would be an empty place, old, and nothing great. But when we came in, we were pleasantly surprised to see a lot of filled tables. Their menu was pretty expansive. Food was great. Servings were huge. Make sure to order for sharing. Check out the quaint choc shop next door too.

This was a really good place. I had never been here in the decades I’ve lived here but I tried it today because I was looking for clean Japanese stir fried beef. The Hana beef was excellent. A little pricey but worth it. I would probably mix it up a little asking for less sauce and sweetness, and I’m no fan of miso soup, so I’d opt for a salad or something, but the dish was fantastic. Fantastic. The service was good.. I’ll go back

This is a solid place to eat. The portions are HUGE portions and the service is prompt. We ordered edamame, gyoza, seaweed salad, beef teriyaki, chirashi (no roe), eel don, tempura udon, tuna and salmon sushi by the piece (2 pieces per order), and California roll. All of the food was good. The beef teriyaki was rare sliced beef with sauce – not sure it was marinated. The tempura was a flat coating deep fried, not the typical spiky coating, and it was very greasy –we would not order this again. The rice was a small bowl but given the other food portions, it won’t matter, you won’t finish all of your food. The décor is so-so – it’s is located in an outdoor mini mall location and inside it’s a little dark as the windows are covered with closed blinds. We would return but it is not a place we crave to return.
Note: Hibachi is not cooked on the table in front of you
