Big portions; very commercial low quality food. Had the seafood platter with pork ribs. Found the ribs tasted a bit dry and lacked flavour; maybe needs more time to marinate? The Mac salad was good but nothing to rave about. Loco moco patty is so thin and small; rice is too much; gravy gets absorbed and gradually vanishes. For me it’s one of those been there but won’t be going out of my way to come back type of experiences. I’d rather try other food places. The only thing I have to say about this place is that for the quantity of food; the price is very reasonable. You shouldn’t leave starving unless you’re very picky with food.

The staff was kind. The food serving portions were crazy. Huge amount of meat, literally so much that our takeout container couldn’t close. We got the chicken katsu and BBQ beef. Only 12 dollars each dish. You could feed 4-5 people with 24 dollars. Worth your money. Huge bang for your buck. I can actually say that there was too much meat, not enough rice. A very rare thing to say. Only small downside thing is that the meat is a little bit too salty for me.

This place gets 5 stars off taste alone! Swung by on a Saturday afternoon for the first time while having a Hawaiian BBQ craving. You not only get better portions and better taste but pricing for a short rib plate is better compared to other places! Very humble place, nothing flashy, just solid food. And they cater! Definitely worth a visit.

I was so happy to find out that this place accepts credit card. Great portions, decent price, and food was great! Parking does kinda suck so plan accordingly ie carpool/be prepared to walk a bit just in case. Please excuse the horrible pic. I didn’t get to eat until 1 hour after but amazingly the chicken and shrimp were still crispy.

The beef curry bowl is Japanese style, with big chunks of veggies and tender brisket. The serving size is pretty generous for the price.

Ever since we went to Hawaii we’re always on the hunt for good, authentic Hawaiian food and this place nailed it! The chicken katsu was crispy yet moist and tender. I also ordered spam musubi which was delish. The portions are huge and it’s reasonably priced, especially for California. We will definitely be back.
