First our server was amazing i forgot your name but me and my wife had lunch and it was absolutley a great experience. We ordered our normal appetizers ikura and maguro sushi , some yellow tail and salmon. Shumai also. Food came out quick and portions was generous. For mains ordered triple sec and rainbow both was delicious fresh and had left overs

Food was great! Service was good up until the end. However had somewhere to be so asked the manager at the bar while he was talking to an employee for boxes and the check. He said okay, you can go sit down but the vibe was very much get out my face im busy. He could take a note on being more humble I hope he doesn’t talk to his employees like this on a daily. Also paid 80 plus dollars for 2 adults and kid… Ridiculous

They will make your sushi the traditional Japanese way with your wasabi inside the roll, if you request it….but remember wasabi is off the charts
The LSU roll was good. It comes fried, but I will try it not fried next time.
The snow crab salad was amazing!
The Geisha roll was delicious. The tuna and salmon on it melted in your mouth.
The shrimp fried rice was good enough.
Seaweed salad was dope.

I had sushi and sashimi here, and I would say that the raw fish was decent, but the preparation could have been better. The sashimi slices were ridiculously thick. Of course, I appreciated the volume, but the same volume served in thinner slices would’ve been more enjoyable. The sashimi was also served with some imitation crab, which made me feel shortchanged. It would’ve been better not to include it.
The Rose special roll was unexpected and confusing. I thought “crispy crumbs” would be a topping, but they were formed into some kind of dough which the salmon was wrapped around. It’s a roll with no rice.
Our server was very softspoken and quite inattentive. She didn’t give us small plates or dishes for soy sauce, so we kind of had to hover over the large plates that we were sharing.
Overall, this isn’t a bad restaurant, but I think it could be improved given how much it costs to dine here for sushi.

The food is amazing but the man upfront decided he was going to wait to tell the chefs to make our order until we got there to pick up our preordered food. SIR. I said I wanted it ready for 4:30. It’s not for you to decide to hold off on making it up we showed up about 39 minutes late (unforced circumstances). We were already in a. Time crunch and you made it worse. Next time, listen to the customer. Even if you wanted it as fresh as possible, I don’t care. So beware anyone who preorders food.

It was my wife’s birthday and we had a party for 5 for lunch. The service was slow to begin – waiting for some time before our server took our drinks order. When it arrived it was wrong for 5 out of 9 at our table. It then seemed an eternity before our food order was taken. The cook then decided to not only cook for 9 (I thought it was their policy to have only 8 at a table) but for an extra 3 ! My son in law had to wait extra time because they had forgotten his chicken. Overall it cost $200 for 5 with no drink refills and service that was truly awful. No tip left – you didn’t deserve it. I will not be returning.

I went there for lunch. I ordered the crab rangoon which is the fried cream cheese crab puffs I like to call them. I also ordered the tiger eye roll. I was not able to order hibachi as I was on a time crunch. I do not recommend the crab rangoon, they were very small and fried hard and I am unsure why there was a tiny glimmer of a fishy aftertaste. I rate them a 2/10. The tiger eye roll was good. It was filling and a great price for the filing. The tiger eye roll rice that it was rolled in was a little warm which is different. Typically anytime I order sushi thw rice is cold. It was a different taste but I liked it. I rate the roll a 5/10. The best part was the waitress. She checked back several times. I believe her name started with a D. She was very patient. I will go back and order hibachi and rate at some point. For now I will likely stick to mandarin for sushi and crab rangoon.

Clear broth soup was tasty.
The Miso Soup? Pass on it.
You won’t go hungry here…but you may not want to have generous portions of salty rice.
I have no intentions on returning here in the future. Why is the outside of the restaurant not being kept-up? The manager/owner should have enough pride to maintain the small outdoor area of the restaurant. Take a look at the photos posted–this was true-to-day on 7/17/22 at noon.
The experience was great. The food was okay.

It’s the only traditional Hibachi experience in town, so it remains a popular place for larger parties and special occasions. Wait time usually is short and food is great more times than not. I’ve had mixed experiences for sure, but nothing that would ever prevent me from going back. All in all, a very decent meal in Alexandria.

Sushi is good. Had teriyaki steak with rice…steak was very well done and rice was overly flavored with sauce of some kind. The waiter was great. Other than that unfortunately I won’t be back.
