Came here for lunch with my boyfriend and it was delicious! We ordered the chicken and pork dumplings, soup dumplings, and scallion pancakes. We really liked everything, but the soup dumplings had hardly any broth (the flavor was amazing though). Even so, my boyfriend said it was some of the best Chinese food he has had! Also: very reasonable prices and I love the interior design! I will certainly be back to try more menu items

Uber eats order. Pleasantly surprised. BBQ duck was flavorful and authentic. Missing a lot of breast meat so wouldn’t consider it a half order. Hor fun was great, lots of beef. Got dumplings promo but those were so so.

I’m really disappointed, I was debating between georgetown location and this, but this was rated higher so I chose this one. First thing when entering, they sat us down but attitude was rude, the lady gave us like 30 secs and asked if we’re ready when we said we needed more time they rolled their eyes and be like ok 1 min. When we placed our orders, it the pork and shrimp came quickly but think they forgot our other orders. They also weren’t checking our tables to see if we needed anything, we were trying for a very long time to get their attention. Regarding food, the shrimp dumpling was a small portion, and it tasted really bad, it’s obviously the ones that are frozen that you get from a supermarket and steam it, I’ve bought one of those and this is identical, I could’ve just gotten a pack of 16 for the same price compared to the 3 pieces they gave me. PLEASE dont get it, the peking duck was really dry and seemed like it was sitting out there for a bit, I think the lower ranked georgetown location duck was better, but ive had better and this is probably one of the worst ducks I’ve had. Looks are deceiving, it’s very pretty but doesn’t taste good. Also got mapo tofu, it’s literally hot and sour soup and then added some tofu, not true mapo tofu, have had better. The taro mightve been the best thing. But in general rude neglected service, poor food quality, each item disappointed us more and more, don’t understand why it’s rated so high. Would not come back no recommend, overhyped.

I’ve never not given a tip when dining out, but this was the first time.
We waited for almost two hours without anyone informing us about the delay.
I’ve been to other branches and they were fine, but this one was really disappointing ,both the staff and the food.

Absolutely delicious. Party of three and had no wait time in the early afternoon of a breezy Sunday in February. The place was certainly packed, and there was a larger party waiting to be sat— so maybe we got a bit lucky.
Our group shared an order of Soup Dumpling, Singapore Noodles, and Orange Chicken. It was the perfect portions for the three of us, and we finished off with some green tea.
The workers were very friendly, and didn’t feel like they rushed us too much— checking in every so often to see how our food and experience was.
Definitely recommend. And right down the street from the Smithsonian Zoo

The first time I had the soup dumplings, they were wonderful. The best I’ve ever had. Such perfect ratio of thin dough to soup to meat ratio. I’ve come here 2 more times after to order them, but each time I was disappointed. Almost no soup. Crispy eggplant was wayyyyyy too crispy & was mostly batter. Pork & bean curd rolls were made perfectly!
We got the soup dumplings (~$12), braised pork (~$16), bean curd with oyster sauce (~$5.5), and crispy eggplant.
They also have outdoor seating.

I came from the zoo and wanted to sit down for some lunch. We got the Peking Duck and we’re not disappointed. Order a hot tea, the tea service is beautiful. We tried Beef and Vegetable Dumplings, they were juicy and rich, and earned a high recommendation. We were delighted we chose Han Palace it is beautiful and welcoming with superb service.

If you’re doing bottomless dim sum this place is worth it. Do not do delivery though. I ordered through seamless and they added one or two dollars to every item on the menu compared to pick up. In addition to that there is a service and delivery fee.
On top of this they did not include the dipping sauces and the portions are very small. If you’re at the restaurant it would be fine, and you’ll pay less money.
The dumplings I had so far were over cooked. The filling ended up watered down. The flavors were all there though. The only thing good were the purple dessert buns. The scallion pancakes were over fried but tasty.
Do not order for delivery or take out. They change the price based on where you order from by adding a couple dollars per item and the food does not travel well. I won’t be ordering again.

Group of friends met here for an enjoyable Sunday brunch. We each ordered three dim sum and all had enough to eat. We had fun trying a variety that would have been impossible for a single diner, and most options were tasty enough.

Came here with a Chinese friend who said this was an authentic place for Chinese food. They had Chicken Feet, pork baos, a pork gravy. I had a Cucumber appetizer, a tofu gravy which was served with rice. A dessert which was tapioca in sweetened coconut milk. We also had flower tea.
The food was so so good. Service was reasonably quick. Price is justified. Definitely recommend the place.
