Today our days started off rough and we were disappointed. We both knew we wanted to return to Han-mi to make our day better. And it did indeed! I preferred the seafood udon and my wife went with the sirloin. Both dishes were magical in the flavor.
This is a top notch team of chefs in the kitchen. Everything is hand crafted and full of flavor. Oh and the banana pudding – it is the creamiest smoothest banana pudding I have ever had.
My wife is a picky eater and this place has become a go to for us to visit on date night. We love 2.5 hours away and will make the trip for Han-mi.
Service: so-so(understandable seeing how they were super busy during lunch)
Atmosphere: decent
Can’t rave enough about the food though! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and packed with flavor! I like to think I can handle my spice pretty well, but the warning they put on their spicy sauce is warranted; I was sweating and crying, but in a good way!
HIGHLY recommend this place!
We started with the Mandoo appetizer, which was my absolute favorite — perfectly crispy on the outside, full of flavor inside, and just the right texture. The dumpling soup and ramen were both delicious and comforting, packed with rich flavor and generous portions.
I especially love that Han Mi offers a seasonal winter menu featuring hearty soups — the kind that warm you up from the inside out. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and authentic Korean comfort food done right. We’ll definitely be back!
