Dined at HAN KUK JIP and had a really pleasant experience overall. The food was good — nothing wildly over-the-top, but solid and satisfying across the board. The atmosphere was nice and chill, with K-pop music and videos playing in the background, which added to the vibe. Our server was especially kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Rosé tteokbokki, kimchi pancake, bulgogi kimbap, and cheese corn, and everything came out tasty and enjoyable.

Got the same experience as the other recent one star reviews. My food was barely warm when I got it. The rice was definitely old, and the curry doesn’t look right. My friend and I were the only two in there, and things still took forever. The service was just lackluster in general. The music was terrible too, like it was just someone’s shitty barely alt Spotify playlist with way too much Lana Del Ray and K Flay. I have no clue how this has a 4.4… it definitely should not. Don’t waste your money.

Every food we ordered didn’t even come hot not even warm. I ordered a katsu curry and it was crispy but it was also hard to bite and it was thin. I paid extra $2 for the curry sauce and they gave me a thinnest sauce curry sauce I’ve ever had. It didn’t even look like a sauce, it just looked like a soup. In addition to the food not being warm when served, the air vents were directly above our table blowing cold air directly to our food. The service wasn’t great. They took our order, waited atleast 20 minutes when we were the only people in there, food came out cold, they didn’t even come to our table to check on our food and ask if we needed a water refill. The person in front couldn’t care less. They were wearing airpods and they were on their phone the whole time. One of my friends ordered the harue chicken and the flavor wasn’t good. We should’ve known when we saw another table with leftover chicken that looked it wasn’t even touched and it looks the same flavor as the harue chicken plus it took a while for that table to clean. It looked like they were only 2 people working that time but that doesn’t justify the poor service we got. Since we were a party of 6 we had to pay gratuity pay which was not mentioned and for the service that we got we shouldn’t have paid for it. The first korean restaurant I’ve been that I had terrible experience with. I’ve been to several and the smaller ones even had a better service than this. Not to mention all of those restaurants greeted us smiling, checked on us and our food, and most importantly the food came out warm. The reviews are misleading with 4.4 ratings I thought this would be a good place. Me and my friends didn’t like anything that we ate there. The only good thing was their snow cheese and yuzu garlic soy chicken wings. It’s also in the pricier side and with the price we paid plus the gratuity charge, we expected a better service, food quality, and overall dining experience. Definitely don’t recommend this place, it’s a waste of money and waste of time. Too bad the reviews were very different from what we experienced.

READ BEFORE GOING!

This place is not real Korean food. It is more Americanized than anything because a lot of their food is not traditional Korean snacks, it’s more Americanized to mimic Korean street food. They charge extra things to be add in the tteokbogi like the fish cakes that are meant to be in the original recipe but they charge extra for it for $2. Plus other items like ramen. The gimbap was very mid and didn’t have any unique flavor at all.

The food here is not what you might think. More American ran than Korean ran and it doesn’t have any Korean roots or flavor what so ever. They put tomatoes and ketchup in the tteokbogi to the point it’s not even spicy. Especially rose tteokbogi.

Tteokbogi is suppose to have rice cakes, and fish cakes with spicy kick to it.

I do not recommend this place unless you want an American taste of food that is far from Korean style street food. Thank god we didn’t get their fried chicken…

This was my second visit to Harye K-Food in Doraville.

I had a really good experience the first time, so I was looking forward to coming back. This time, the food was still enjoyable, though it didn’t stand out quite as much as I remembered. There may have been a few subtle changes, possibly to adapt to the current times, but overall it was still a satisfying meal.

I’m giving 5 stars because it remains a solid spot with good food and fair value. I appreciate places that continue to serve quality meals without making a big deal out of it. Still worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Harue is a great casual spot for good portions of delicious Korean-style meals! Many restaurants in the area close for a while in the middle of the day, but Harue does not, making it the perfect spot for us to stop before heading to the nearby karaoke. The vibe is very casual, offering easy to-go ordering or dine in. The menu is huge and easy to read on the outside of the restaurant so we already had a good idea of what we wanted to order – we had the Curry Tonkatsu with Cheese, Cream Tteokbokki and Tonkatsu Omurice – and were very pleasantly surprised by the portions! We all ended up taking home part of our meals for later. The interior is nice and very clean, the staff are helpful and chill and we will certainly be back for more!

This place is such a gem. The food was fantastic!! Got the second spiciest flavor for the Harue boneless chicken special and it was delicious. The spiciness builds as you eat the dish which was unexpected but welcomed. The chicken was well cooked and tender. The rice cakes it came paired with were wonderfully crunchy and chewy at the same time. I ate my dish with the salad that came on my kids’ wings and fries. It was such a good meal. Hubby enjoyed his bimbimbap as well though we both agreed that my dish was the better of the two. Cannot wait to return to try all the other flavors and dishes. Service was quick and efficient. Really enjoyed our meal and highly recommend!!

We arrived and were greeted very kindly, we sat down at the table of our choosing and ordered our drinks, they offer canned coke beverages and milkis as well as what appears to be some juice made in store, they brought us water as well. We looked over the menu and everything sounded delicious, I ended up going for the Tonkatsu Curry and it was delicious! Would definitely order again but I want to try the Korean Army ramen next time! Also got the bulgogi gimbap and it was great as well, works great as a side. My love got the kimchi fried rice and it looked great and she got the spicy tuna gimbap and let me tell you it was SPICY but still very tasty! The service was great and very attentive. Would definitely come back again thank you Harue.

Been here maybe 5 times now. I always try to order something different each time. This time I tried their new Harue Chicken, it comes with boneless chicken & crispy rice cakes, I got the sweet & spicy flavor.

My sister got the Rice cake skewers, Bulgogi gimbap & half chicken (Soy garlic) meal. Let’s just say she couldn’t eat much after the rice cake skewers but good thing she’ll have leftovers for days. On the menu the half chicken says it’s for one person but it’s definitely a meal for you.

Sometimes service can be slow here when it’s busy but we got in before the rush this time and the service was fast.

They have a big menu and a variety of options to please everyone’s taste buds.
