Cocktails: I had the “Smoke Show” cocktail, was so great that I had two of them. Two of my friends ordered the French 75, which they loved.
Food: The four us shared the Koren Fried Chicken (4 pieces) as an appetizer and then each of us ordered the prix fixe menu. We all had the lobster beet starter. For the second course, I ordered the crab cake, while my friends ordered the diver scallops and the dumplings. All were delicious – no disappointments. For the main/third course, I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, and everyone else ordered the duck. And for dessert, three of us ordered the lemon cheesecake, and one person ordered the blueberry cake.
I would return to this restaurant without hesitation. I was surprised that there were so few people on a Saturday, but part of the reason could be the location. It is not in a lively, restaurant-heavy area, and it is hard to tell from the outside that the restaurant is even open. But once you enter, it is an adorable place with a clean, aesthetically pleasing design.
I’m happy that my friend found this place. All four of us enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.
I would highly recommend checking out Han 202!
Hans stands out due to its inventive takes on traditional Chinese dishes offering a unique dining experience that blends contemporary presentation with bold, comforting flavors. The restaurant’s sleek, minimalist interior and intimate setting features clean white tablecloths, soft lighting, and a calm, understated elegance. With limited seating, Han 202 provides a cozy and personal dining environment, making it ideal for date nights or small gatherings.
Han 202 is renowned for its prix fixe tasting menu, which offers a curated selection of dishes that change seasonally, but be careful about supplemental charges for some menu items. Diners can expect a multi-course meal that showcases a fusion of Asian flavors with modern culinary techniques; THIS CHEF IS 5 STARS!
The salads are all fresh. The appetizers unique–BEST SHRIMP TOAST ANYWHERE. Signature dishes include inventive takes on classics, such as Chilean Seabass (pictured), duck with hoisin reduction, and delicate dumplings. The Ribeye & Lobster is divine. Lobster tails cooked to perfection. All of the varied menu offerings are OUTSTANDING! Just make certain that you save room for the Hot Chocolate Souffle for desert.
The attentive staff ensures that each course is timed perfectly, allowing guests to savor the progression of flavors throughout the meal. The service from a restaurant with TWO waiters, one doubling as the greeter, a Head Chef and a Sous Chef is remarkably consistently amazing!
Having no chopsticks by default should have been an indicator that we were not in a typical Chinese restaurant.
It was a bit pricey considering the flavors.
The lobster salad was the highlight of the 4 courses menu.
Overall, we were disappointed by what was served to us considering the high ratings. However, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff was friendly.
Four course PRIX FIXE menu for a modest price (with occasional up charges) is a great deal.
And everything was delicious!
We got the salmon salad, lobster tail & beets, walnut shrimp, *complimentary tuna nigiri, Mongolian beef, and garlic shrimp.
The Mongolian beef was DELICIOUS.
An intimate, low-key spot. Not packed.
