This is a great fine dining option right in the heart of downtown Sumter!

Really enjoyed the menu and the flavor was great! Decided to double down on the short ribs for the appetizer and the main, and it was the right choice. LOL…

My meal:
• Duck Spring Rolls (Shared)
• Short Ribs (Appetizer)
• Short Ribs (Main Course)

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

From the moment we walked in, 30 minutes before closing, this place exceeded our expectations. Sarah made us feel genuinely welcome with zero awkwardness or shaming (sadly rare these days). That alone set the tone for an exceptional experience.
Joshua, our server, delivered true 5-star service: attentive without hovering, thoughtful recommendations, and just the right amount of conversation (warm, personable, and professional).

The chef’s creativity and execution are outstanding. Every dish had clear, intentional flavor distinctions. You could actually taste the intricacy of each ingredient. We started with the Burrata Salad, and I can honestly say I’ve never had anything like it. Absolutely incredible. The Short Rib Ravioli followed, and once again, the ingredient choices and flavor balance completely blew me away. We also enjoyed the bacon-wrapped shrimp with its Asian/jalapeño flavor profile. I thought it was bold, unique, and perfectly done.

Drinks were just as impressive. My wife enjoyed a great Cabernet Sauvignon, while I had both the Peach Cobbler Old Fashioned (wildly unique and amazing) and a traditional Old Fashioned. Both were exceptional.

I’m honestly baffled by anyone who’s had a bad experience here. This may be one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten at a lot of places all over the world. I highly recommend this restaurant without reservation… though you should definitely make a reservation if you want to eat here.

The Hamptons in Sumter, South Carolina, is an absolute gem. The chicken panini was perfectly made—flavorful, fresh, and paired beautifully with their crisp house chips. Dining in the courtyard was an experience unlike anything I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was stunning, with live flowers, elegant seating, and a beautiful flower wall that created the perfect backdrop. The entire staff, from the hostesses to the serving team and even the owner, were all top-notch. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience unforgettable. I can’t wait to go back!

The food is amazing! The beet ravioli was fresh and quite frankly, the best ravioli I have ever tasted… EVER! Everyone in our party enjoyed their steaks. An amazing time was had. We sat in the rafts which seemed more of a vibe for our group than the main dining area, both are very nice. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service in a homey, southern downtown area! There was no wait to be seated for a late lunch and the atmosphere was pleasant in the elegant dining room. My server, Josh, was very friendly and attentive and the service was prompt and professional. The salad and entree were great, but my favorite was the homemade key lime pie and berry sorbet, which was a perfect combination of sweet and tart and the best I’ve ever had! The experience felt somewhat upscale, but the price for lunch items was reasonable, at about $10 each for salads and desserts and $20-$30 for entrees.

This delightful fine dining restaurant is stellar!!! It’s nestled in downtown Sumter and is truly a gem. They have a Michelin 3 star chef on-site and he has curated a sensational menu! I live two hours away and was there celebrating my son being Teacher of The Year!!! I got the braised short rib and crispy pork belly and pound cake with blueberries for dessert. Everything was prepared perfectly! Hamptons is worth another two hour drive for dinner! I’ll be back next month!!! Who knew?!?!?

My bill was $274 for my son and me. It was worth every dollar

Amazing food, every dish was delicious in our party of four with exception of the meatballs; however, we are Italian and quite picky. Calamari, artichoke dip were excellent; salads superior; rib eye was top notch—however, desserts were *stellar* especially the key lime pie and berry sorbet!!!
Staff were distracted but we later found that they were prepping for a huge rehearsal dinner party and catered wedding that weekend.

The food and atmosphere were good! However, the service was awful. Mike was our server for lunch. He took our order, brought it to us, but never came back to see if everything was good with our food, no refill on my coffee, or if we wanted additional spirits or dessert. We noticed how he checked on others while intentionally ignoring us, making our first visit the last due to the type of service we received.
