I visited last weekend with a friend. It’s a cute spot. Love the atmosphere. The service was great. Your food and drinks are brought to the table if you order through the app. The slushy machine was down, so I was not able to order the drinks I went there for. I ordered the Mac burger. When I bit into it, it was red. Same for my friend. We let a worker know, and he said they could cook our burgers again or make new ones. We asked for it to be well done. I initially bit into two parts of my burger to see if it was going to be red throughout. I also pointed out how my bun was soaked red. I’m not sure why there is an option of cooking the same burger. It’s a messy burger, so I feel like they should just bring out a new one. I assumed if they cooked the burger again, they would give me new bread and toppings. He brought back the same exact burger. That was disgusting to me. As I mentioned, it’s a messy burger. It was still slightly pink. I just ate around it. My friend’s was still very pink, so she got a refund. The voodoo chips were amazing. I saw them in the RoFo on the corner and bought a bag. Love them!

Great addition to the Hampden neighborhood! I came with a friend to check out Hampden Yards pretty close to when they opened, so we were able to get a picnic table. I could definitely see if getting crowded as the evening goes on!
I liked the convenient ordering system through the QR code. It makes it super easy if you want to pay separately. They have a decent selection of cans, cocktails, and beer! I tried two different beers that I enjoyed. I’ve seen great things about their cocktails but have not tried any (yet!).
Food-wise we ordered a burger and hot-dog and split it so we could try a little of each. They were both really good! They also come with a bag of chips. I think the food is a tad expensive for what you get. Also, I think they should make it more clear when the kitchen opens. We got to Hampden Yards around 4 and were confused as to why we didn’t see the burgers/hotdogs on the QR code menu, but it was because the kitchen opens at 5. They do have other food you can purchase before the kitchen opens (pretzels, charcuterie boards, chips). It’s completely possible the kitchen hours are posted somewhere and I just missed it though.

Solid beer garden with an impressive drinks menu that goes well beyond just beers. This year, there is no food except for chips and pretzels. You can bring in your food from three nearby restaurants (Ekiben, Nepenthe, and Golden West). My pro-tip is order ahead from any of these places, grab your take out and go to Hampden Yard so you don’t need to leave your table to pick up food.

Good atmosphere. The guy checking id is super nice and very welcoming. Fast service. Drink selection are nice, i got one beer wrong. Food not for me. I ordered Macdaddy, I took one bite and immediately felt cold ground meat texture. My bf said maybe it is cooked med rare but its more like medium raw. (Picture below) I would come back for drinks but not for food.

I found a new summer spot! This truly is a nice outdoor garden space to hang with friends and have a chillax time. The mules are delicious! And the burgers are incredible . Service is good and the owner was around to talk to everyone making sure things were alright. If your not familiar with area, may be hard to find but just follow the smells coming off the grill. Super cool place when the weather is nice. Easy QR scan ordering, good cocktails, the food looked good. The place just has a cool vibe and is a fantastic place to sit and chill. Great for kids or dogs. Would be a really cool place to rent for an event.

I love this place! It’s a vibe and a great place to go with friends, or on a date would probably work as well. The crushes were amazing and we definitely got more than one. It’s both kid and dog friendly.

What a fun addition to The Ave! Bar staff is attentive and lots of fun. Drinks are strong, burgers were loaded (Bleu Jam pictured) and tables have unique QR codes so service was speedy!

Amazing place to grab drinks. Easy to order and drinks come almost immediately. Extremely nice servers/bartenders, especially Nick. The food is limited, but they let you bring food in too. Great place for a happy hour, especially when the weather is nice
