Tried this spot for the first time and broke my fast there. I ordered the Lobster Roll and Haddock Fish & Chips, everything was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked.
The owner, Scott, was also a very nice person and kept checking on our table to make sure everything was good, which made the experience even better. The only thing that bothered me was the paid parking, as it was a bit difficult to find a spot.

I tried all the fish they had, and every one of them was delicious. Personally, I love the halibut the most, and the haddock offers the best value for money. The rockfish isn’t as good as the first two, but it’s still very tasty. Tartar sauce is excellent!!!

We felt obliged to dine in at the new space on Ottawa Street. We enjoyed every bite of the freshly sourced seafood. The catch of the day was highly recommend. Our only regret was getting two pieces, because one was a substantial portion (see photo). The only reason I provide less than 5 stars is due to our server disregarding our oyster order as an appetizer. The oysters were incredible however the situation could have been handled in a more delicate manner. Looking forward to visiting Hammerheads again soon!

Tried hammerheads for the first time after hearing nothing but great things and it lives up to the hype for sure. I luckily dined in when they launched their new lobster fritters and got to try one for free!! That was really good also, i it had small lobster pieces throughout and some nice big chunks as well with potatoes. 10/10 will definitely be back.

I’m a long time customer at Hammerheads and thrilled that they have dine-in now. Today, I had the haddock and fries. The meal was extraordinarily delicious. The batter on the haddock was light and crispy. The fries were done to perfection and the coleslaw was super yummy. Our server was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will be returning much more often to dine in!

Ordered a NYE platter, late at that , but they still did it for me!! It was Soo good!! The owner personally answered my questions on his Facebook page regarding it and then did my order for me, So Happy!! Good food and friendly staff! Came for a late lunch on Saturday. It took quite a while to get our food but it was also a busy street festival day so I get it. The gluten free bun was really good and made the lobster roll quite pleasant. Will look forward to returning for fish and chips!

I brought my fiancée here after dinner on her birthday for some oysters since it was recommended by some friends. These are the best oysters we’ve EVER had in Hamilton. We’re usually quite disappointed with seafood and head to Toronto when we have our cravings but little did we know, we had an amazing spot on Ottawa Street. The server was fantastic and so kind! I can’t wait to come back again!
