EVER! This bar is Fernandina beach. Tourist go to Palace Turlte and boat house
house. All the workers, waiters l, cooks chefs, bartenders, security, bar tenders, managers, associates, and cleaners, movers and shakers that work to keep this town going end up coming here to be themselves and no longer have to spend there time serving others and forcing a smile and actually relax, kick back, play pool, karaoke, bingo nights, near beach, prime real-estate, smell the ocean feel the wind, food truck usually available every evening, and top notch security and local spirits. The silver slick back retirees In the day and at night all the youthful or still feeling youthful locals. Top deck, beer pong tournaments, festive holiday decors and great dj and music vibes.
deciding to change classic country music to foul mouth rap for their own listening pleasure and filling the song queue so it couldn’t be changed. Weird way to keep folks in the bar, but maybe they really hated country music.
As you enter, you’ll see the bar to your left, multiple billiard tables throughout, and a few games to your far right. There’s also an outdoor dining area that I didn’t explore much. I stumbled in here with a few friends, both old and new, looking to enjoy a few brews and lose a few rounds of billiards. Mission accomplished.
The tables are in good condition, with enough sticks and balls for multiple people to take turns playing (that’s what she said). Towards the back you’ll see a few more party games, including darts, which is more fun to play when you’re plastered since your life is on the line. In between scratching and taking selfies there was buckets of seemingly endless beer to enjoy, mostly the all-american classic, Corona.
Some time before we (physically) left there was shots of Jameson and Jager at the bar. Mentally, I had checked out earlier after the fourth bucket of beer. Speaking of which the servers were very attentive and friendly, making sure the well of alcohol did not runneth dry. If you’re looking to recover from your hangover, this place is a great option. It’ll help you feel like a local… slightly drunk and still can’t find your keys.
