First time eating here and we were very happy with our meal and experience. We were greeted with kindness and great service. Ordered a bunch of items and loved it all! We had the Del Gordo Doble, tacos nortenos, tacos gringa, fries, elote cup, and churro cup. Finished every bite! They even waited until we were finished with our food to bring out the churros warm. Thank you, we will definitely be back and recommend you to our friends and family 🙂

Pricey for a burger combo but the food is unique and actually delicious. I’d recommend the El Gordo – the pickled peppers add so much flavor and the fries are great too! Just wish it was slightly cheaper. Spent about $20 on a burger with fries + drink. Would still recommend for a lunch outing.

This place is hands down one of the best taco spots I’ve been to. The tacos are packed with flavor, made fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The tortillas are soft and warm, and the meat is juicy and cooked just right. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

My buddy and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, craving greasy deliciousness and HEG didn’t disappoint. The ladies inside were friendly. The menu is easy to understand but wow, deciding what to have was not easy so I just went with the Del Gordo Cubano- everything (beef patty, chorizo, fried egg, hot dog) between a toasted bun. It was messy but good. The fries were okay, not the crispiest, and could use a little more seasoning. Just a heads up though, this particular location is tiny, so plan ahead if you thinking you want to dine in. I would definitely go back to try other menu items though.

We went for a weekday lunch at noon and it got busy as soon as we sat down. You have to park on the street or there’s a super small spot (3 cars) behind the building. Pretty small place with 4 tables and 2 chairs each. We ordered combo #2 and #9. Our food came within 10-15 minutes of waiting. Flavorful and fresh food. Birria tacos were small but the burger was gigantor. Fries were good, and they were generous. After we got done, we left with full bellies and we smelled of grease.

It’s hot as hell in there but those burgers are good the meat is kind of chewy for some reason. The fries not so much lol. Tacos are good also bu5 fatty sometimes. The hotdogs are good but my bun was huge and needed to be toasted badly.

They had very good burgers here. Definitely should get the Del Gordo Cubana. The place is very convenient as well as it is close to the Concordia Avenue bike lanes and it is right next to the route 21, soon to be the B Line. It’s also a 10 minute walk from route 65 and route 83
