Incredible new burger spot downtown. Vibe is old school retro, the type of rural bar you stumble into the middle of nowhere, juxtaposed by its busy downtown location. Service is great and matches the retro vibe.

I’ve tried many many smashburgers in my life, from the Mecca in PDX to all the great ones in SF and this is possibly the best one yet. The maillard is just a perfect crisp in both of the burgers I ordered. And the duck fat fries were also great. Would recommend

Really tasty smashburger and mouth-watering hand-cut duck fat fries look forward to trying the other variations (and the boozy milkshake flavors sound delish)! Loved the retro feel of the place and classic rock tunes – it was definitely a vibe! Staff were swamped but still friendly. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been a handful of times since they opened and each time the food has been really good. I prefer the smash burgers over the charbroiled ones but that’s just a personal preference. The gravy fries are also really good/use actual cheese curds. Happy that have had such a good turn out considering they recently opened.

Also the beer is always ice cold

I love the atmosphere and vibe of this place. It truly feels like a 90’s midwestern basement. Drinks are wonderful. So much nostalgia, but there is one big caveat. Their burgers and food are not season/salted at all. Sad because I really wanted to like this place. 🙁

Highly recommend the milkshakes. They are perfect. Not too heavy, just the way a milkshake should be

Came here to check out this spot on a Monday. Pleasantly busy. The El Reno hamburguesa was perfectly juicy. I had the Classic American, cooked to perfection and flavorful. We also enjoyed the duck fat fries. The atmosphere is very down home and good ol new and old twangy country music. Reminds me of an old Wisconsin or down south bar. Great atmosphere! Will be back with more friends.

We were a larger party so we had to wait in line a while, and the restaurant seemed to struggle with how popular it is. I’m glad to see local spots do well but the experience wasn’t what I had hoped for.

There was a line and service was quite slow – we got our burgers first, then poutine, and had to ask them about our fries and salad which ended up coming last.

I ordered the El Reno which I would not recommend, it was quite dry and plain since there was no sauce or cheese, and very little of the onions and mustard. The other burgers we ordered were better. The fries were fine?

Overall, I think the restaurant was trying their best but definitely need more staff. I would recommend people wait a bit to try it and definitely order something other than the El Reno.

Please update your hours – that way customers won’t walk into a diner still pretty full of customers and being told (rather rudely) by an employee they’re closed when inquiring a table. Was here at 1:30pm and the hours say 12pm to 12am? We wouldn’t have made plans to grab lunch here if that was stated. Had other alternatives in mind in case it was packed/no available seats but to be told “yeah we’re closed *makes face* we have a closed sign out front” (both hands on the 5 btw, if it’s 5pm it should be 12 and 5).

Vs, “the customers here are finishing up but we’re actually closed until dinner at 5.”

Without the attitude face and duh didn’t you see the (incorrect) sign?

Loved it. Different burgers have different meat grinds not just toppings. Great burger and thick fries. Going to have to work through the whole menu. But the all american and the fresno chili burger were both fantastic.
