I had “The Hamburg”, a solid take on a classic double burger with bacon, cheese and all the extras you’d want.
I also tried the Pulled Pork Filthy Fries with pulled pork, cheese sauce and onions. Both were full of flavour and very satisfying. The staff were cool too friendly and welcoming.
I would 100% recommend the sweet potatoes fries over the regular fries, they were very good.

Tried a burger place called Hamburg recently. The street where it’s located isn’t particularly kid-friendly, but it’s very lively with cafés and bars all around, so the location still has a nice, energetic vibe.
The burger itself was very good. The patty was juicy, though the inside was a bit on the raw side. It didn’t bother me much, but my wife felt it was a little too rare for her taste. The fries, surprisingly for the Netherlands, were quite salty.
They also served a “sparkling” iced tea, which was definitely a different experience and something we didn’t expect. Overall, a good spot for a burger in a vibrant area, with a few small things that could be improved.

The burgers are very good. However, if I am paying €15+ for a burgers (without fries mind you), it is reasonable to expect decent service. Hamburg just does not deliver that experience. The staff are not rude per se but what bugged me was their self service concept. The price just does not justify customers having to go and pick up their food (+ the loud calling out was also not particularly pleasant). I would come back for the food but I won’t come back because of the service (or rather the lack of it) :/

We were craving a hamburger in Rotterdam and found this place by accident. We decided to go there and it was the best decision ever made.
Very friendly, informative, and professional waiter, and surprisingly, he speaks my mother language! The food was also amazing! We ordeded classic and cheese madness (forgot to take pictures of the food). The bun and beef were perfectly cooked and served timely. The fries were also great! Nice ambiance as well (although the place is not too big)

Coolest burger experience, as soon as you enter you hear good loud music, sharp and funky colors, smell of good burgers and fries.
Friendly staff and nice tables.
They know how to make some banger burgers here, and luckily you have some options to choose from but it doesn’t end there. They have a great variety of homemade sauces that you can pair with your fries or burger. If you want to chill with friends and have good food, you will enjoy your time here. Enjoy

Great place to eat a tasty burger! Loved the overall ambiance, great music and decor. The service was super fast and welcoming. The restaurant doesn’t stand out from the street, but don’t hesitate a minute to climb those stairs!

A proper hamburger place indeed! We ordered 2 beers, BBQ Beef Burger, the Hamburg Burger, and Sweet Potato Filthy Fries. They had a machine that showed when your order number’s up and you had to pick your order up from the counter. Everything tasted delicious, cost us 48 EUR, really worth it. The staffs were great and friendly, and the vibe of place itself is great to hang out with friends, family or for a date!
