I ordered the 20oz sirloin steak and a baked potato and the pinto beans for takeout. The entire order was enough for two full meals for myself! The steak was cooked to order and tasted great! The potato was baked out on the grill so it had a great flavor as well and the pinto beans were awesome! Great service and I was able to pick it up fresh off the grill in about 25 minutes!

The food was great and the service was even better. The gentleman behind the bar was very nice and helpful. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because when I got my burger, the bun was pretty soggy which I’m just not a fan of. Otherwise, I loved it

We had lunch there the food was nasty heavy in oil very soggy and fornit to be call Cajun grill nothing Cajun about this food this food had no flavor and when I say no flavor I mean NO FLAVOR ! THIS WAS TASTELESS SOGGY FOOD . When the waitress ask if all was good I told NO , I told her the food was very oily and soggy and bland she didn’t know what to do . As a waitress they supposed to fix the order but she didn’t even offer to fix the problem . Over 60 dollars wasted .y’all won’t be getting my money anymore . Now if y’all want Cajun food travel to Tyler and eat a Razzoo’s Cajun Café now they know how to Cajun season their food …

Found this place while in Palestine and it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. I myself got the never ending catfish but didn’t need a refill because they initially give you plenty! I’ll say the catfish was VERY tasty!!

I don’t know if it’s because we are from Houston, but for us a seafood boil is way different than what was offered here. The crab and the shrimp were just literally boiled. Didn’t taste like anything or have any sauce. It’s not that they were bad they were plain and we’re not used to that. Also, we really wanted crawfish but our server, who was very nice by the way, said it was out of season so they didn’t have any. Again, we’re from Houston so it was strange to hear they’re out of season when I know here in Houston places are still serving them.

Overall, I will not be coming back because I will not be in Palestine again. Would I recommend it? Yes if you’re gonna have the catfish or any other dish, I don’t recommend boil.

I tried a variety of items, starting with the Cajun fries and fried pickles. The fries were the highlight—topped with BBQ sauce, cheese, jalapeños, and chopped brisket. While the brisket was a bit on the fatty side, the overall flavor was delicious. The fried pickles were also excellent, featuring a perfectly seasoned batter.
For the main course, I had the fish and shrimp. Unfortunately, this was just okay; the fish fillets were quite small and lacked flavour. However, the sides were a standout—both the coleslaw and hushpuppies were great. In the future, I’d likely skip the fried fish unless I paired it with a side of etouffée to give it a boost.

Great little restaurant with good food. Very pleasant service. Robert was Johny on the spot on service. Definitely will return in the near future.

My bestie and I went for dinner. The restaurant had a good size crowd when we entered yet we were welcomed in with Southern hospitality. We sat outside and Robert was our waiter. He recommended the special and it did not disappoint. If you have a chance to have a slice of Mama’s Rum Cake, DO IT! I’m a pretty good amateur baker and I haven’t (yet) come close to the perfect crumb that this cake has. I’ll be bring my husband back for the well marbled steaks we watched get hand cut.

Man the food is on point here. Came for my nieces birthday. Quail poppers, loaded fries, Cajun egg rolls, tomahawk steak and the massive double bacon cheese burger.

Crawfish were good, but the shrimp was amazing. Hush puppies were delicious. Fresh Shiner on tap.
Bar tender was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that wasn’t spot on was my wife ordered hot and spicy grilled chicken breast but it was not spicy at all and her baked potato was a little under cooked. Overall it was great I will definitely return.
