We opted for a coffee jelly milk, and an iced coffee w/ almond milk & tiramisu syrup. We also got a apple custard cake to share. I enjoyed the coffee jelly milk the most, and the apple custard cake was airy and fluffy. However, I wish the coffee was stronger. Also, I probably wouldn’t recommend their tiramisu coffee, it tasted pretty artificial IMO.
All in all, it’s a nice little Japanese bakery. The pastries were slightly on the expensive side, but the quality was there. Drinks were relatively cheap. Will probably be back to try out the Boloniya bread and other savory pastries when I’m in the area.
I decided to treat myself to a melon pan + a loaf of shokupan, and I was NOT disappointed at all. This was my first time having melon pan (I missed out when I was in Japan) and it absolutely blew my mind!! The bread was soooo soft + fresh, and the outer cookie-like shell had a great flavor + texture—I pretty much inhaled it in 2 minutes. It changed my life, which may sound dramatic, but I take my carbs very seriously.
I can’t wait to come back for more melon pan and also try all of the other baked goodies they offer!
I highly recommend trying both of these treats at this amazing bakery!
Very disappointed, as the person at the register rang up the items first, then grabbed the items while I was paying. Wish they would have waited so could make sure tgat they got all the items I asked for
The goods I got were great. 5 treats. Two for mum, two for me, one for a friend. Cut off a piece of a green tea whatchamacalit, it was delicious.
One curry pan for dinner. Happy with that.
If I’m ever in the area again, this bakery is always going to be a mandatory stop.
I reheated the curry pan when I got home. Accidentally charred the top. It didn’t matter. Doesn’t taste burnt at all. Curry pan is amazing. So durable.
Rum raisin danish and creme fruit tart, because everyone should have a treat once in a while.
