A few weeks ago, I ordered the sausage and gravy at Ham and Egg in Harvester, Missouri, and found it lacking in flavor. However, I usually like to try things twice to give them the benefit of the doubt, so my girls and I decided to return for breakfast this morning.
The place itself is clean and intimate, creating a cozy atmosphere for dining. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Keto Bowl, corned beef, scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon, French toast, and pancakes.
To be quite honest, their food is just okay. The home fries that came with our meal were particularly disappointing. They were thinly cut potatoes that seemed almost mashed but not quite, which made them lack the typical fried texture one would expect. Additionally, they were quite bland and could have used more seasoning.
I don’t even want to talk about the corned beef.
The service, unfortunately, added to our lackluster experience. When we asked our waitress for hot sauce, she gave us a bottle of Tabasco with little to nothing in it. She also never came back to check on us throughout our meal. I had to ask someone else for the check and a to-go box.
Overall, while Ham and Egg offers a pleasant dining environment, both the food quality and service leave much to be desired. The experience was decent, but it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Staff is SUPER rude. I am a doordasher. I take it serious as I am also 52 years old-no time for games. They were so rude and nasty to me I will never eat there, take my family there, nor will I take anymore deliveries from their store. I had never been there before but will NEVER be back! They make you sign your name in a book along with the customers name and the date. This is THE ONLY place I’ve ever had to do that. I am asked the customers name and have been asked to show it on the phone but not sign a book. The fact that I didn’t know it is where I was treated so rudely! Delivery was marked late by the merchant but I was not and doordash corrected that. I am a top dasher for a reason

Do not get the takeout I don’t know why they asked me how I want my eggs if this is how they’re going to cook it ordered it over easy food is really bland no holes in the top of the takeout box so all my food soggy won’t be coming back.

Awesome breakfast!!! My fiancé and I swung by here for breakfast. We walked, and it felt like you walked into “mama’s kitchen.” It had a great welcoming, warm, barn vibe. Our server was so sweet!!! The service was excellent! Our food was delicious. Definitely going back!!

Ham n Egg was a great place to enjoy a good breakfast! The food was excellent and the staff was really friendly. It’s a family owned and operated business and they care about what they do when it comes to your food.
It’s a converted sonic so seating was a little limited, but plenary of parking. Bathrooms were clean and the location is easy to find!

Local breakfast place we stopped by while on the run. Wide selection of breakfast choices including skillets and bowls. Their “slice” of ham is about the size of a dinner plate. Reasonable prices and service.

Saw the sign that said “Best Breakfast”. Decided to give it a shot. This is a converted drive-in food place, like maybe an old A&W or Sonic. Anyway, it is now a cozy little eat-in diner. It is very small, but also very CLEAN and comfortable. The service was great. The food tasted awesome! (I had the breakfast steak and eggs) The portions were large for the price that I paid. I don’t think I could buy the ingredients myself for what they charged me to cook it up and serve it to me.
Look at some of my other reviews. You will see I am pretty picky about eating places. I definitely recommend this special little place and I will surely be back!

Looking for a place to grab lunch, we stopped at this former fast food building.
The food was decent, filling, nothing special.
The place is seriously the epitome of a heavy spoon. Very greasy.
The icing on the cake was our server. Abrupt, not friendly, not welcoming in the least. She acted as though we were bothering her. Par for the course, as soon as she dropped off the check, she was smiling and friendly. Too late. We are very good tippers, however, she lost out that day.
