So happy to have a new chill local bar in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is great and the food is top notch.

I had the smash burger and it was perfectly made. The curly fries were awesome and the house lager was great too. I also tried the buffalo wings and they were the best I’ve had in a long time.

The only recommendation I have is to maybe add table service in addition to the on-demand QR code ordering since some customers may find that difficult to understand how to use. Other than that, it is a great place and I will definitely be a return customer. Happy to have them nearby!

Hal’s is a classy new sports bar that Woodinville really needed. The food is genuinely very good, the beer selection is strong, and the cocktails are excellent. Service was absolutely top‑notch — friendly, fast, and attentive! There are TVs everywhere for easy viewing, plus outdoor seating. The location is prime, right in the Hollywood District next to the Somm Hotel and across from Chateau Ste. Michelle. They’re also open late, which makes it a perfect spot to end the night. Highly recommend!!

Stopped by Hal’s today to check it out I had never been before they just opened last week. They have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The kombucha I got was outstanding, however, I was a little disappointed that they charged $9 for a nonalcoholic kombucha in a can. That’s a little steep especially when the craft kombucha’s website says cans are sold for $4.50 so that’s a pretty steep markup. Just stating facts. I love the atmosphere and I ordered the chili and curly fries to go. The chili was outstanding once I added some salt and pepper. The curly fries themselves were very good if you like curly fries. Overall this seems like a great spot with a really impressive food menu, I would come back. My only suggestion is maybe don’t charge $9 for a $4.50 craft kombucha that has no alcohol in it.

Update – I watched the Seahawks win the Superbowl at Hal’s and all I can say is 10/10 service and vibe. They lowered the price of my favorite Kombucha so I enjoyed 4 of them while watching the game. The lemon pepper wings I got were truly the best I’ve ever had. It’s very apparent the staff at Hal’s genuinely care about their customers and take feedback seriously and have made changes including in person menus and have definitely upped the overall customer experience. It was great the first time I visited and even better the second time. I can now officially call Hals my new go to spot in Woodinville. Well done Hals!

We came on Wednesday for dollar wing night and, at first, things looked promising: the Smash Burger, chili dog, cheese curds, and cocktails were all genuinely good. The red flag was the wings. They came out so fast they practically beat us to the table, and several were barely warm or outright cold. The person I was with ate them anyway and ended up very sick later that night, which makes us really question how the wings are being handled.
I totally get that it was busy, but being slammed should slow food down, not speed cold wings out of the kitchen. That feels like a rookie mistake, especially on the item they’re promoting. Service also struggled to keep up, and we had to work to get our server’s attention. There’s a fun vibe and good food here, but until they treat wing night less like a sprint and more like safe cooking, it’s a 2-star experience for us.

Located in the middle of wine country! It’s a sports pub, lots of televisions mounted on the wall, prime location for people watching, and menu of many items. I tried their smash burger, not a fan, it lacks flavor, the curly fries that came with it were over cooked, the beer selection is small and was poured poorly with a giant head.

I will give it another go and order something else to see if it was simply a bad day, we all have them. Based on first impressions, I give this 2.25

Very happy with this addition to Woodinville. We were missing something like this with good food and drink. They’ve got amazing options and we will be back.

Buddy told me it has a very cool Sports Diner/Bar kind of vibe. I can’t wait for when the weather is warm and we get to try out the patio.

Food and drink were great. Beer selection is great and the vibes are very solid.

Cheers

Found my new go-to spot!! I came in expecting standard bar fare and was blown away by the high quality food and beverage on offer. The chicken wings are top tier, with a nice variety delicious flavor options! And they make their own homemade ranch. It was outstanding!!

Hal’s pours out a nice selection of local beers and wines, in addition to a very tempting house cocktail and shot menu.

I found the ordering process to be user friendly and easy to navigate. I enjoyed setting my own plan and pace for the visit.

There was ample seating options and many giant TV’s showing all types of sports.

Everything was so great, we decided to book a booth at Hal’s for watching the super-bowl!

I wasn’t a fan of this sports bar. To start, I stood at the host stand for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me or my party. I understand they’re busy with a new opening, but if guests are expected to wait that long just to be greeted, there should at least be seating available, there were no chairs or benches at all.

Once we finally spoke with the hostess/waiter, we were told it would be a few more minutes while a table opened up, which was completely understandable. When we were seated, we were informed about the scannable menu and told a server would be checking on us periodically. The QR menu itself was fine, but the prices were extremely high for what’s supposed to be a sports bar.

We ordered the Esquites Dip, which was very underwhelming. It was overly runny, and the tortilla chips served with it were extremely stale. Our food and drinks did come out in a reasonable amount of time, which I appreciated. However, once the food arrived, no one checked on us at all. We weren’t given plates, napkins, or utensils, and I had to flag someone down midway through our meal to get them. Even then, it was surprisingly difficult to find any staff.

Overall, the service did not match the prices or expectations. I don’t plan on returning unless there are significant improvements, particularly with pricing and service.

Beautiful new space. Numerous screens are ready for the next event while tonight the focus was on food and friends with light music. Beautiful bar, beautiful bar stools, booths for six or eight or more. Breakfast tomorrow!

New wood panels reduce noise, making this sports bar quieter than the previous Mexican.
