The tater tots were great crispy on the outside chewy on the inside.
The onion rings were also good with a nice crispy breadying with a good ratio to the onion.
Unfortunately the tenderloins weren’t as good. They were 20-30% inedible fat and gristle (see photo). We didn’t finish them. The breaded tenderloin uses crackers in the breading. Lots of crackers. Not our preference as it makes the breading to pork ratio higher than we like. However if you like that style of breading then this is the place for you. The lettuce was brown and wilted (see photo) so we tossed that. The bun quickly squished down to a thinness of a quarter.
FYI – Very smokey bar. We got carry out and an hour later my wife still smelled like cigarettes.

We ate here after seeing a movie (Wonka) @ Alexandria Movie Theater . Great service and food. We ordered cauliflower but got mushrooms. We didn’t eat them until we got home, so we didn’t know at the time we were there. I saw my ex coworker!!

My hubby and I don’t go out often, especially to bars, since neither of us drink often. However, when we have the hankering for amazing bar food this is where we go. The onion rings are always perfect and that Halo burger gets me every time. The food is a foodies dream. The people are amazing and delightful. The few time we have been in for a cold beer, it has been awesome. If I could give more stars I totally would.

It was a late Tuesday night and their grill was open late (9/9:30ish and all the other bars had already closed their grills.) the bartender was so great and the food was so good! She was running the whole place including the grill by her self and she did a fantastic job!!! We will definitely be going back!

I absolutely love this place it has a small town atmosphere and the food is amazing. I’m in the food service industry as a licensed Food Handler with a CRM and my mind was blown to walk in to Halo’s and see such cleanliness and the food is awesome and the service was phenomenal .
