. Since the options for food in the town were limited and we were staying at the Inn next door, we opted to eat here. It was pretty late but we were able to get the last 2 pieces of fried chicken. I ordered a bunless hamburger. The food was hot and tasty and the price was fair. It was also the location where the Inn’s included breakfast was prepared and served, although in a private dining area.

This is a convenience store but the best part is the restaurant! Excellent huevos rancheros, blue corn pancakes, and special smoothie with cherries, blueberries, pineapple, and wheat. This all came with my stay at the Inn at Halona.

The clerk that was at the register wasn’t so nice. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but that’s not an excuse to not be kind. She didn’t say hi when I greeted her, but then the person that was behind me she acknowledged and made them feel welcomed. Other then than the other clerks and the store is great.

Convenient place for groceries if you don’t want to drive far. Great place for fried chicken, down fall to great chicken is the long lines to get your order. Expect to stand in line for 10-30 minutes even when you call in an order. Total food wait is about an hour or more on some occasions. Need faster service in deli but over all, good place.

Definitely, hands down the best chicken in Zuni! It is the staple of restaurants in town. The service is great and they have more than chicken. The ice cream is yummy and the burgers hit the spot.

The chicken and chile is so delicious . We always take home a couple of pints of chile to make chile dogs, huevos rancheros and other goodies. The dinning room is beautifully decorated with zuni art. Today there were no plates or bread, so we had to purchase them from the little store, that’s why we didn’t give it 5 stars.

The fast food sold here is delicious. My only rant about this place is there are lots of customers and only one cashier/cash register. I hate waiting 30 to 40 minutes, on a busy day, just to place an order and then wait another 20 – 30 mins for your order. This is not a great place to eat if you’re in a rush.
