Called to see what kind of cakes that they had. The lady was very short and didn’t seemed as if she wanted to help me out. I asked about coconut cake, lemon. She replied that they do bake in Saturdays and I would choose something like a birthday cake. The only flavor was yellow cake mix with icing. I was very disturbed by the lady and the fact that she wasn’t trying to satisfy me, a customer. She was not professional by no means. It’s 8:38 am and she wasn’t wanting to make a fresh flavored cake. Sadly I will not be going there ever. I thought that business aimed to please their customers. I was wrong

My husband works at the hospital up here in Martinsville and brought home 2 containers of cupcakes, I already ate two the prettiest best cupcakes! I tried to give this place a try yesterday 3/21 and they just had a bunch of empty trays and no product despite still being open a couple more hrs. Also the older lady working the counter came to the front and back to the back twice before even speaking to us and had a very unfriendly attitude. Wouldn’t go back even if they weren’t going out of buisness.

the donuts i got were really good and plenty filled, but the applefritter was raw. the middle hadn’t cooked through and was all stretchy and doughy. the atmosphere as well was dingy and kind of claustrophobic. i know this isn’t a big building, so there isn’t much to do about that, but the lights could be brighter, and some natural light would help.

My wife and I were excited to try this place. We had heard such great reviews and we had heard how delicious their pastries were. Sadly, we were very disappointed. The donuts looked clunky and while the lemon filled my wife had was good, it was a bit tart and the icing was way too sugary. The honeybun I tried tasted like nothing more than a glazed donut. The oatmeal cream pie had a filling that was a little sweet and the cookies were hard, forcing all the filling out as I took a bite. I will say that the chocolate cake was pretty decent but it looked atrocious (you could still see the non-stick spray from the pan). And finally, the service was pitiful. The woman who waited on us appeared to be fed up with work, she was not very friendly and never even smiled. Believe me, we won’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend the place either.

Size and the quality of the oatmeal cookies have gone down hill they are no way near as good as they use to be also the donuts tasted stale and seemed to be just thrown together I don’t think I’ll be going back again
