Absolutely perfect evening on bonfire night.
complements to the chef for an amazing meal.
The fresh fish was soft and fell of the fork. The garlic aïoli was delicious. The prices were reasonable and décor interesting especially the toilet 😉

I’m over from Spain visiting family.
We opted for scallops in shells as a starter, cooked to absolute perfection, the flavour was unbelievable.
Sirloin steak, huge amount of meat again perfect.
I had the duo of duck, again perfect with amazing flavour.
If I had to criticise there was too much meat but due to the flavours we had to take time and force it time. Because of this we could not sample the deserts.
Megan our server was an absolute delight.
Next time I’m in Weymouth I will definitely be coming back.

This is, in my view, currently the best restaurant in the town. The food is superb and the staff excellent. Sure, there’s Catch down the quayside but who’s got £150 a head for dinner money?
The young team wisely keep the menu a sensible length so that every dish is excellent, with great fresh fish and a specials board that should be everyone’s go-to menu. Special mention for Megan the waiter, who was simply excellent.

Halls Kitchen organised my engagement dinner with my partner and it was perfect. The communication from start to finish was excellent and after consistently emailing for weeks we were able to plan the perfect dinner. A massive shout out to Adam for his brillliant communication and willingness to help and be so accomodating to our needs. The table was set up beautifully, exactly as requested and we were seen to by Tara. Tara was lovely and attentive and made sure all of our needs were met , food served promptly with good spacing between dishes. She was also incredibly friendly and conversational and complemented my partners ring ( which she was very happy about ). Another huge shoutout to Jack who was the cook; friendly and lovely also (alongside Adam) who cooked quite possibly the nicest food we have ever eaten . We had Braised Pigs Cheek, an 8oz Sirloin with Steamed Veg aswell as a Sous Vide Rump of Beef. These were excellent and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more if we tried. Overall the whole team at Halls Kitchen were fantastic and we couldn’t reccomend them enough. I looked for a while before finding this gem in Weymouth and on such a special occasion they made us feel like the most important people in the room , all while attending to each of their other guests with the same hospitality. 5/5 and if we could give more stars we would. Thank you so much to all the team at Halls Kitchen again. We will be back <3

We mentioned to our Airbnb host that we’d booked here and she told us it was a popular place with the locals, which is always a good sign.
Our waitress was funny, engaged and gave great service. That is really important as it’s an intimate restaurant, so you want to feel relaxed. The waitress was great at giving recommendations.
The menu had a great selection of seafood and meat dishes. The food we had was great quality and nicely presented.
If you’re looking for somewhere that serves tasty, fresh and wholesome food and you’re willing to pay a bit more for it then this is the place for you.
The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, feels warm and cosy on an Autumn evening.

Delicious meal for 3 of us. My seafood broil was so yummy and the whole sole was delicious too. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was great. We would definitely return when we are next in Weymouth.

The food was top-notch: I had scallops starter and baked haddock for main. My husband had mushrooms starter and sirloin steak main. Both were delicious and our host very attentive and helpful.
The restaurant itself is smart and welcoming but relaxed and very comfortable.
We also stayed to have dessert each and there were dairy free options and not just sorbet! It was nice to have other dairy free suggestions offered by our host too.
All in all, a very good meal and a lovely evening.
