Charming little dinner spot in the heart of Hale. The food was delicious, the service warm and friendly, and the prices very reasonable. A cozy stop that captures small-town charm. I’ll definitely drop by again the next time I’m passing through.

Outstanding breakfast at this little cozy diner. My pancakes were phenomenal, and the service was awesome. Best sausage gravy, too! Loved it! I only wish it was closer to home!

Very nice family oriented place to eat. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly Make sure you get your food in a timely manner also brings back coffee frequently to refill. Also has somebody to check you out in a timely manner. Would suggest for people to go and eat there they are not open on Mondays. But opened all the other days. Have breakfast all day

I took my mom out for lunch to Big Bob’s today while visiting. They were busy, but we only waited a few minutes. Mom got the very nice chicken quesadilla; I got the hot turkey sandwich with homemade mashed potatoes & gravy. Both were delicious. We also had a fantastic waitress who was great.

There’s really a big selection of great portion food there that I’ll have to investigate another time.

I had a banana Walnut pancakes and they were delicious, my wife had the turkey Reuben with fries and it was delicious. And our server was exceptional.

Went for lunch with my husband and I ordered County fried steak and eggs. The country fried steak was fork tender and delicious, eggs cooked perfectly with hash browns and toast. Everything was great my husband had an omelet and it was packed full and delicious. Our server was very patient and happy and attentive. We live in Hale and we need to get there more often.

Big Bobs, friendly service mom and paw country cookin atmosphere. I had the greatest breakfast there.. And you talk about it fast… before I you could answer a text. She was back with two eggs, over medium, big biscuit, and gravy, two pieces of sausage and a lumberjack pile of hash browns… I passed through Hale, Michigan again and I’ll be sure to stop in.
