The food is absolutely delicious! I went with a party of 13 and we all loved it and enjoyed it very much. Lauren our server was really ubeat and friendly. Her service was remarkable, especially for such a big table. I loved the instalations. It made me feel like i was in another city. What really striked me was the story behind this restaurant that i really want to share. Hallelujah! BBQ was created to employ and equip people who have experienced homelessness, including past residents of the Rescue Mission and graduates of Rescue Mission’s Drug and Alcohol Relapse Prevention Program. Their team is trained to get jobs in the food service industry and they learn to cook while rebuilding their lives. Every server and every cook has a story. It’s actually printed and is on the table they are serving. So when we eat at Hallelujah! BBQ, we’re supporting recovery and someone’s chance at a new life. They strive to provide a safe and encouraging work environment for those trying to get back up on their feet and those pursuing a sober life! So, not only do we get to eat delicious food, but we get to meet them and be part of their lives. I totally recommend Haleluyah BBQ!

Beautiful architecture building. Food was simply delicious. Tried the poblano paradise, it’s a must try. The sausage is also very good. My husband had the moist brisket and the ribs….also finger licking. Whatever you choose you will not go wrong . Sides tried were mac and cheese, pineapple Coleslaw, potatoes au gratin, everything was well worth it. Service was excellent . Thank you for such a great eating experience.

As someone who makes their own smoked meats, i can attest that the BRISKET had been on a dryer, light smoke flavor. It’s as if it had sat soaking in a pellet smoker for hours looking for flavor, to no avail. (Eadible but priced as if it was made by gods) i had the “moist” and “lean” brisket. I should have ordered their “award winning” brisket. Apparently theres a seperate brisket being served to judges and gen pop. 4/10
-Turkey: I couldn’t tell if the turkey was smoked or oven baked. To my surprise the meat was VERY moist! However, moisture is not a flavor. The turkey was lacking severely on flavor or even smoke authenticity. I’d rather have a dry smoky turkey, then a moist flavorless one. 3/10
Sausage: who would have known you’d come for bbq and was more satisfied with sausage than anything else on the menu. The sausage practically melted in my mouth. They did great with that and the sausage also holds well within the casing. 10/10
Ribs: another honorable mention with the flavor. You can dimly taste the smoke flavor however their touch of honey on the bark gave it a sweet but not overwhelming flavor. I can greatly appreciate the effort put into the ribs.
The beans were delicious. And the pineapple coleslaw were also sweet and refreshing.
Overall if you go to bbq places for their sides I’d recommend this one. But truth is, the over priced meat NEEDS justice.
The mention of military discount was only so I can feel okay with what I paid for. I’m not going to bbq places to save a buck. I understand the prices in the meat but please justify the price like other bbq places and serve whats paid for.
I recommend them switching from a pallet smoker to an actual log burner, cause that smoke flavor was definitely not there. I did not leave this place saying “hallelujah for that food”

Went here for lunch with family based on great and in fact the best reviews for all bbq places in El Paso. Was excited to try the food based on reviews. Unfortunately it was quite a disappointment overall. Not sure how an why people rate it as such. It was satisfying to support the rescue mission but not what we expected. Not sure how people can possibly rate food so high. MA h other of local bbq places much better. Dinning hall was nice.

WOW!! We weren’t expecting to have some of the best brisket we have ever tried! An unexpected find while in town for business, and not only did we enjoy EVERYTHING we tried, but we made friends as well. The staff each have a story of redemption to share. Come for the food and leave FULL! OH – be sure to try their stuffed Poblano pepper! It was FABULOUS!

This place is our last stop in EL Paso before leaving. We came in at 10:32am and we were the first table of the day. The smokehouse staff is loading woods and greeted us with kindness. Restaurant is super clean and cute. Service is fast and friendly. We ordered more to go after finishing our meals here. I want to highlight the fact this place supports homeless programs . We would always support business that gives people hope and love❤️

I’m super satisfied to have found this place on maps. I was searching for brisket and it shows up.
The brisket was superb. Melt in your mouth. Best one I ever had. The ribs were outstanding. The corn bread, the mac and cheese and the pineapple coleslaw just perfect.
The place itself is very nice and pleasant.
And I had the most delicious dessert ever. Apple pie cheesecake. Who ever came up whit that combination deserves a medal.
All by all. Amazing experience.

This was recommended by coworkers. It was a pleasant surprise. I had the two meat three side combo. It was the poblano paradise and baby back ribs. The sides were green beans and brussel sprouts with the the beans. Considering on the reason for this restaurant you might say that it will not be that good. This should be rated one of the better ones. The highlight was the paradise. It sure feels like it. Like that well known person said “Don’t take my word for it.” You have to be the judge for it. So drive to this place. You have to check the hours. No dinner hours. It closes early. Why you might say they run out of items. Cudos to the people that recommended this gem. I will pay it to you be buying them a lunch here.

I ordered the 2 meat + 3 sides combo, and WOW. I had the brisket and the ribs – delicious! The sides (mac n cheese, potatoes au gratin, green beans) were the best I’ve ever had. Service was great – it was a mother-daughter combo, and they were very helpful and friendly. Lastly, the atmosphere was just right; I was there with a friend, and the Christian music playing in the restaurant was much welcomed, needed, and perfect for deep conversations.

The food was so good that I went back the next morning to order a to-go bacon-wrapped, stuffed poblano pepper, and that was amazing, too. Made just right with crispy bacon on the outside and delicious stuffing on the inside.

It’s unfortunate that I am from out-of- state and was only able to experience this restaurant in a limited manner. If I were to ever be back in the area, this would be the first place I would seek out.

Thank you, Hallelujah! BBQ!
