Had to try the clam chowder… it was amazing!!! Waitress seemed a bit scattered and didn’t check in except to give us our bill…even though it was not busy.. but overall it was a great experience… would definitely recommend checking it out!!

Stopped here after sight seeing from our cruise ship vacation. Service wasn’t to bad, business was slow but due to the season ending but our waitress was sweet and helpful! Food wasn’t half bad, halibut fish and chips was good, crispy and flakey but $33 for 4 halibut nuggets and 2 hand fulls of fries is a joke!! The prices are way to high for little food! The clam chowder had good flavor but was nuke warm at best after waiting 25 mins to be served when we were the only party there. Beers were beers, can’t complain there but the prices are very high and that says alot for alaskas already high prices. If there going to charge that much for there food then make sure food is hot and portions are plentiful for the new season! I wouldn’t highly recommend this place but if you were starving, it’s something to eat. 7/10 over all

The man that owned the business made sure to check on both times. We had a couple different options( I forgot to grab pictures) but it was so good! Greats meals!

This is a fantastic place to have a relaxing crab meal! The crab was 10/10 one of the best crabs I’ve ever had. The service was great. Did not feel rushed at any point of my meal. Staff was very kind and helpful. We were taken great care of. The prices were half of what we paid in Ketchikan and it was much better crab. Do not miss this spot!!!

Great location to the port and food was quick and hot. Service can make or break an experience and, in this case, Willow, our waitress, broke the experience. She was great until she said she was going outside to catch a break. From then on, service was trash at best.

We had the mac and crab and the crab roll (very flavorful) Our server’s name was Aiden, he provided excellent service and kept our glasses full, we also had the owner come over and ask how everything was, it is nice to see the appreciation towards the customers! I would highly recommend visiting this venue. Great job guys!!

Pricy, but worth it.
Had the crab macaroni and cheese, a side of fries, and a huckleberry margarita.
The mac & cheese was very creamy, and while it wasn’t “loaded” with crab, there was a reasonable amount. And it was definitely fresh. Yum! [Although Google only gave me the option to “recommend” the fries, I’d also “recommend” the mac & cheese to anyone who likes a good creamy mac & cheese.]
The fries were nicely done yellow potato fries, soft but crispy outside, not overdone.
The server was attentive, kind and knowledgeable (the fish I saw through the windows, jumping out of the water outside in the bay, were apparently most likely pink salmon).
Food came quickly and was well cooked. The atmosphere was nice, and not overly crowded, surprising considering our cruise ship had just recently docked [likely, folks were taking the shuttle into town and not hanging out around the dock]. I was seated almost immediately and able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.

Super fast service. Asked our private tour guide where to get food and he said here! So glad we didn’t walk by just because it was at the dock. We split the fish sampler (two filets of 3 different fishes, a chowder, and a coleslaw) and a side of the corn fritters. Bomb food. Lightly fried fish, thick lightly smoked seafood chowder?!, everything was so fresh, homemade dill tartar sauce, honey butter with the fritters I can’t even describe. We don’t normally eat fried food, but this was worth it. Didn’t feel heavy or greasy after and we finished everything except all the fries.

amazing place to grab a beer just off of the cruise ship. Wonderful seafood sampler. Hard-working staff upstairs and downstairs. Definitely had a great cider here.

Halibut Point Crab & Chowder was a great pit stop before getting back in the cruise ship. Service was super friendly and the food was pretty good.
Their sourdough corn fritters were delicious. The king crab here was fresh and good too. We had a nice table overlooking the pier which made it even nicer!
They even had a neat souvenir shop with their logo on everything. Fun items to buy and take home.
