Great spot for classic fish and chips meal. The fish itself was very enjoyable, lightly battered with good flavour. I wasn’t much of a fan of the coleslaw. The “chips”were solid.
I also had the fish tacos as an appetiser, while the fish itself was excellent, the sauce used in the taco didn’t complement the fish.
Overall, the fish is the star of the meal. If I could give a 4.5/5 I would.

Came here on Labour Day Monday for dinner and it hit the spot! We were surprised that they had a $12.99 Haddock special; the piece of fish was massive and it came with a choice of side. I had the sweet potato and hubby had the regular fries. It also came with coleslaw which was “ok”; vinegar based but lacking in flavour. Hubby also ordered the calamari which he said was quite good. Also the fish chowder which he said was very good !
Service was wonderful. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars as it’s a very very casual spot. It’s clean but feels like a “fast food” spot.

Just tried out the new Halibut House in the east end. They definitely hit the mark in serving up crispy, golden fish and chips. The halibut is super fresh, and the portions are generous. Plus, the friendly vibe makes it a perfect go-to for a casual bite. If you’re in the area, definitely swing by and treat yourself. It’s about time we had a place like this on our side of the city!

A friend suggested this restaurant as they serve a reasonably priced breakfast plus seafood. We found the new one in Blackburn hamlet & there was a daily special of $12.99 for fish & chips. It was very good. I had eaten a bunch of fries before I remembered to take a picture. Service is good & bathroom had soap & tp plus nice & clean. I feel this business is worth returning back to.

We had dinner with friends here few times already and must say consistently positive experience, food service, cleanliness of the restaurant are excellent. Prices are also reasonable. Highly recommended.

Not suitable for muslims. Chicken and fish fried in same oil and rice has chicken broth. And the server didn’t tell us about chicken broth in rice. We noticed upon tasting that it has some broth flavour and then asked the server does it have chicken broth. We should have asked before ordering. Service was also below average.

The fish is pretty good and the staff is apathetic. They scrape the batter off the fish on one side so the fish will cook through. I just wanted to have one portion of fish and coleslaw without fries and the presentation was unappetizing. This was $16 bucks.
