From the moment I walk in, the staff—especially one particular waitress—is rude and disrespectful. She gives me hostile, aggressive looks as soon as she sees me, and it feels very personal. Every time, she either yells at me or speaks in an angry, disrespectful tone. Instead of simply handing over the food, she throws it or tosses it carelessly, like I’m not even worth basic respect.
What’s worse is that she often yells loudly to “confirm the order” in front of everyone in the restaurant, not in a professional way, but in a way that feels like she’s intentionally trying to embarrass or belittle me. The way she acts is aggressive and unnecessary—and it’s very clear that her behavior is especially worse toward non-white delivery drivers. This goes beyond just being rude; it feels discriminatory.
The restaurant itself is dark, cramped, and always packed. There is no parking, and since the door is right on the street, it’s extremely difficult to stop and do a quick pickup without getting honked at or stressed out. On top of that, the staff act like delivery drivers are in the way or not welcome.
The waitress clearly has an issue with delivery workers, and it feels like she looks down on us. It’s extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable, and unfortunately, it happens every single time I go there. The restaurant seems to be understaffed and overworked, which might explain some stress, but it’s no excuse for treating people this way.
To other drivers: be prepared for an unpleasant experience.
To the management: if you value your business, please train your staff to treat delivery workers with respect. We are helping your business succeed, not hurting it.
My new go to in Metro West!
