We visited on a Monday afternoon, arrived at 1pm and seated ourselves at an outside table. We interacted with several of the staff and they were all friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection and the food options. We had a couple of TourBus hazy IPAs (well-poured to the brim and cold). My hubby had the Black and Blue burger (added mushrooms for $1) and he said it was one of the best burgers he has had. I had the fish and chips (Cole slaw instead of chips) which was a right-size portion, fried just right and a nice piece of haddock. We really enjoyed the food, service and selection, and would highly recommend.

We went to The Half Wall around 5pm on a Saturday, and it was packed. The host told us there’d be a 35-minute wait, but we were seated in about 15, which was a nice surprise. Every seat in the place was taken, and it was very loud. The kind of loud where you have to lean across the table to hear each other.
The interior looks like a classic British pub, with wood columns, brick walls, and plenty of TVs showing sports. Service was understandably slow, given how busy it was, but the staff was friendly once things got rolling.
I ordered a Guinness, but it arrived before it was fully settled. There clearly are no certified Guinness pourers here. For food, I went with the Fuego Burger, asked for medium rare, and it came out closer to well-done. Don’t even ask if you can’t deliver. That said, it still tasted good: juicy enough with a nice kick of heat. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips, which had good flavor but could’ve used a bit more crispiness.
When we left, there were dozens of people outside, presumably waiting for a table and proof that this place has its fans. Overall, it’s the only spot of its kind downtown: a lively pub with solid food and a big beer selection. Just don’t expect quiet conversation or a perfectly poured pint.

First time visitors. We had a good dinner with great service from our server Riley.
Chose to go here due to the proximity to the Athens Theater. Only a block or so away!
Husband had the fish & chips and I had the patty melt. Everything was delicious! Great selection of beers.
Recommend. Especially if your going to a show.

Husband and I went on an impromptu date night after work Friday. Tried The Half Wall in DeLand. It was busy, but not suffocating. We were seated immediately, attended to immediately, staff was friendly and attentive. I had ordered a Rum punch and my husband ordered a wheat beer. Large selection of beers and drink options. The food was amazing. I had ordered a Bavarian pretzel, and mac n cheese bites, Husband had a peanut butter burger and I had the mac and cheese burger. DELICIOUS and just what I wanted after a hard day at work. Will definitely be recommending this location to all my people. Please see attached photos.

Half Wall was a suggestion from a friend and what a great place. There is a wide variety of delicious food and a tap list that is a beer lovers dream. We had perfect service from our server we will definitely be back to try more options.

Went with my parents because they love beer on tap. We all ordered a variety of food. Burgers, reuben, chicken wings and an appetizer. Food was very good. The manager was so nice and our server was attentive. Definitely will eat here again!

1st visit. We had the wings; you must try. My wife had the fried pickle burger, undercooked. We were never asked how our food was. I had a black and blue burger. Very tasty. We lived in the place and will be back, but please pay more attention to guest service.

BUNNY “The Hidden Bunny” BUNBUN
I enjoy coming here and really enjoy the outdoor seating. My favorite menu item is the peanut butter bacon burger! The sweet and salty mix is perfect to me. The atmosphere inside depends on the people, I have seen it calm and I have seen a game on and people getting excited! The service was good majority of the time, mind you I have gone here over 15 times and a couple to a few times a waitress would get busy and forget to come outside for a good while. I once had to find a waitress to find my waitress. But over all pretty good. And the prices usually are not that bad. I have been trying to get up the courage to try the pb and j beer.
