I love the empanadas from this place! I’ll be honest they’re a bit pricier than I expected, but the flavor is definitely good. Sometimes there’s a very serious lady at the counter who doesn’t make you feel very welcome, though I think that’s just her personality. Still, when you run a business, creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere helps bring people back

Pricey, we ordered 6 which came out to almost $30 total. 2 out of the 6 were in the oven a little longer than I would have liked. (Some charring on the top.) Over priced and over hyped.

True to its cult following, some of the best baked empanadas in Miami. They only make empanadas so you know they’re amazing. Vegetarian options available but stick to the traditional options with a twist. Spicy chicken isn’t that spicy, in fact I could have used more. Perfect choice to close with the pulled pork. The sweetness of the guava shines through and pairs so well. Easy. quick snack or lunch.

We stopped by Half Moon Empanadas and bought a dozen Empanadas to go. We got their chicken, beef and pulled pork plus the dessert ones: Hazelnut, Guava and Dulce de Leche. Yummy good!! We got 2 meals out of that batch. Easy parking, nice and clean inside, and friendly staff.

Great grab and go. They cook the empanadas fresh so give yourself a few min while they bake them or order ahead.
Love the guava and cheese along the spicy chicken and beef.

Good empanadas, but way overpriced, especially for a hole in the wall, literally!!! — the most expensive empanada I’ve encountered so far, far away from anywhere… Outrageously, in addition, they charge $1 for a blob of chimichurri that is a free condiment in most places.

If you’re Hispanic and speak Spanish, they’ll treat you right. They’ll walk out and hand you your food personally. If you’re Hispanic but look White and dont speak Spanish (me) and are with a Black man (my boyfriend) well… They’ll put their hand out the window and say “Here” like you’re a dog or something. Basically, they’re racist. 🙂

The empanadas are good, but I have to say that the place is totally overpriced. I paid almost $8 for 2 empanadas. 1 meat and 1 spinach. Also I had to pay $2 for the chimichurri or any other sauce I wanted to put in the empanadas. Come on, this place is a hole in a wall in a not so nice neighborhood. There is no service at all.
Nice to try, but expensive for the place and service
