As a boba addict, I will never stop loving SoCal for its endless bubble tea options. I revisited one of my favorite spots, Half & Half Tea.
The atmosphere: This is their express location, so seating is limited. The shop is small, but there’s plenty of parking.
The drinks: They have a wide selection, including milk teas, fruit teas, yogurt-based drinks, and coffees. I ordered the Wintermelon Green Tea with Vanilla Latte cream on top plus boba. I honestly couldn’t taste much of a difference from the Vanilla Latte topping. It mainly added a dairy element that made it drink more like a milk tea. My favorite part about this place is the cup sizes. They are huge. Even the regular size was more than enough for me.
The service: Great service. The cashier was wonderful and answered all of my questions.

Iconic for a reason!
The menu offers a vast range of drinks and flavors to choose from. I highly recommend, however, picking from their Top 10 menu and getting the iconic #1 Iced Milk Drink with caramel, pudding, and honey boba! It is super tasty, but almost everything on the top 10 menu is spectacular.

* Matcha Au Lait with Honey Boba: 8/10 – nice and subtle matcha flavor
* Boba (Topping) – 7/10 – maybe it was an off-day but boba was on the harder side
I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, but the worker was nice and was willing to remake me the right one for a small charge of $0.96! The interior is quite small so the chairs and couch are really just for people waiting to pick up their drinks. They offer tables to sit at outside where you can enjoy your drinks. The place is located in the Seasons Place plaza so parking can get difficult at peak times.

They charge 3.5% if you use a credit card. If you use cash and your total is over $100, they only have $5 in change. Don’t order by number because the staff said they don’t know the menu by number. They don’t even bother to look at the menu. If you call to order ahead, they will tell you about their promotion. You get one free drink upgrade to a large, but it’s mostly more ice anyway. They don’t give you a bag, so bring your own, or they will charge you for one. The staff often have an unfriendly attitude when giving you your drink. If you ask for a bag, they give you a funny look and tell you there’s a charge for it. No wonder their business has been declining. There are many places to choose from for better service—you are not the only option. PS-I post the manu here so remember their drink by name. If you help friends or co-workers buying drinks. Remember to write them all down by the name NOT number becuase their staff don’t know them by number. You will look embarrassed when you have to go back to look for the name.

You can control the sugar. There are many menus, so it would be good to check in advance and eat. If you only put half the sugar, it would be a little disappointing. I recommend eating it at 75%. There are many good seats outside, so I recommend coming with your family in the evening when it is cool. There are palm trees and the atmosphere of the shopping complex here is good.

#4 Milk Tea with Honey Boba & Egg Pudding hits the spot. The tea flavor was just right. The staff were very helpful suggesting types of drink. We were upgraded to a large size with their promotion. We also ordered Iced Milk with Strawberry pudding and Boba which tasted like strawberry milk.

Guys… what the helly. Why does the matcha cream top taste and smell like plum? Can I get a refund for this please. It doesn’t taste like matcha at all, even a bit. Not even seaweed or fishy taste from bad matcha. Just overall no matcha flavor. Not a subtle matcha flavor, it’s 0% matcha flavor, and it’s 100% plum flavor.

First time here. Milk tea is delicious, boba is chewy but not hard, and the egg pudding is firm and tasty.
