This place was busy! The orange juice was great! Pancakes good. Sausage Pattie’s were really good.

I was really surprised that the toast was hard cold and dry. Eggs had no flavor and lukewarm warm. And the hashbrowns were very dry cool I couldn’t eat them.

Maybe just don’t order something different 🙂
Reasonable pricing though maybe we will try again and it will be better !

Kate was awesome! Super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was really good, and her service made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for breakfast—thanks, Kate!

A rushed frantic morning took us by this tucked away gem! We quickly turned in to sample the breakfast. The parking lot was very small, but if need be there looks to be parking in the back. We were fortunate to find someone leaving as we pulled in. Walking in we were greeted by a seat yourself (thank you, we will) sign – which I love – and two employees calling out a welcome to us from the dining room and kitchen! We found a nice booth and seated ourselves. Clean, very well kept dining room, counter area and bathrooms. Extremely friendly, efficient and professional staff. Jania was our waitress and she couldn’t have been better.
The food arrived quickly after ordering, piping hot and exactly as requested – I like crispy bacon and we’ll done sausage!
I ordered The Standard – my scrambled eggs were very good, the sausage spicy-savory and delicious, the hash browns were that crispy edge, soft and almost fluffy perfect interior combo – I had a hard time not eating all the hashbrowns and nothing else! The toast was good according to Hubby (I was obsessing over the potatoes).
Husband ordered the Flapjacks with crispy bacon. Flavorful light and chewey delights. I asked for a portion of my sweeties pancake! And wonderfully crispy – not burned, thank you! -bacon. They had sugar free syrup and a wildly delicious “spicy” homemade syrup that was amazing! And spicy hot! lol.. I cut it with regular syrup. Crazy good!
The coffee was especially smooth with some depth of richness that is hard to find in a restaurant.
We got there at the perfect time to eat and visit. People were in and out for take out, and couples were slow to enter but the booths were almost always full.
The food was extremely good, the prices were amazing – especially for the amount served, the ambiance morning-fresh-welcoming, and the staff made us feel like we were long lost patrons!
DO try this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!
Thank you Jania and Te, we’ll be back soon.

I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying lunch here. Menu looks great and my breakfast experience is my only criticism. Great friendly server and vey nice atmosphere / clean, attractive diner style with a pleasant tv in background playing family friendly shows with captions so diners can watch. Now for breakfast: a great test is always the presentation of fried eggs. These should come out fluffy WHITE with NO remnants of brown grill grease. Unfortunately the eggs came out brown and very unappealing. Therefore three stars on the food, 5 on all else.

I’ve been going to Sunset for years, but this was my first time at their sister restaurant. The black and bleu salad was great, and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. I got my salad to go but next time I’ll sit at their snack bar to eat.

We went once and it was great. We have tried to go back but sadly there is just no parking. We tried one more time today and the parking lot was just so overfilled, we even had difficulty trying to go around the building to leave, there were cars and trucks everywhere. Unfortunately we can not keep driving there only to leave due to not being able to park so we will not be back.

Traveling from out of town and needed a good meal, Kate took great care of me! She was amazing! Her service was exceptional and the grits were just as good as she advertised. Not sure I’ll ever be in the area again, but what a nice experience.

My husband and I visited today for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant is clean, bright, and beautifully set up—a perfect spot for a break. The owners were there, and they were incredibly welcoming, as was our waiter, who was so friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding and the value you play is according of what you get (affordable and good).
We’ll definitely be back!
