From the smash burger to the onion rings to the wing dings and the jerk chicken rice platter… this is hands down some of the best food I’ve had in years.
I used to come here all the time growing up, so imagine my surprise when I found out a guy who watched over me since I was a youngin’ — he and his family actually own the restaurant now. That made the experience even better.
And let me tell you… the food is amaaaaaazing. Especially if you love spicy food ️ .
Right now I’m stuffed like a pig but every bite was worth it. If you’re ever in the area, this place is definitely a must-try.

This place is amazing! The customer service was great and the food even better. The mixed rice was amazing. Never had anything like it but I will be back for more. Also had a triple burger. It was fantastic as well. The drift sauce is out of this world. The onion rings are seasoned unlike most places. Cooked perfectly and the onions almost melt in your mouth! Definetly worth the short wait. 15 mins and I had fresh hot food with no complaints.

I have this restaurant every weekend and it is now part of my routine. They added new menu items and my favorite is either the jerk chicken over rice or the jerk chicken wrap. I would go as far as saying the jerk chicken over rice is probably the best tasting food I have had from restaurants in a 50 mile radius of here. The burgers are a perfect combo of price for portion. The drift sauce and other ingredients being used to make the burgers all combine perfectly and don’t overpower or take over the flavor of the burgers. The restaurant is family owned and the staff are always friendly. Anytime I recommend this place to family/friends they never disappoint.

Checked out the food truck after seeing it a couple of times. It is located in the parking lot of Shell gas station and offers a few tables for those who want to dine there!
We got:
1. Saga turbo smash burger – fresh, juicy and seasoned well. The flavor combination on the burger worked very well together. Solid smash burger! 8/10 (wish it was a bit spicier but I’m a spice fanatic ↕️)
2. Mixed rice plate – packed to the brim with meat, the box weighed like 5 lbs. Huge chunks of seasoned chicken and lamb, dressed with signature white and red sauces, over a bed of fluffy and buttery yellow rice. Definitely a great meat over rice plate. 7.5/10! I could use a little more red & white sauce!
3. Strawberry lemonade – I think their lemonade is made with Italian soda? I could be wrong but it is carbonated. Refreshing and not too sweet!
The food truck has a small menu but they execute their food very well. Everything is made FRESH-TO-ORDER, be sure to account in the wait time when you do come! I do believe they take order ahead for those short on time.
Overall, friendly staff, fresh food, great portion and amazing pricing. Oh, opens ‘til 1AM too! A perfect place for late night munchies .

This is now my new favorite food truck, even restaurant in the metro Detroit area. When I heard they were servicing chicken and rice platters like the ones I used to go late night in NYC, I had to go. The owner Tek was so nice and offered me a strawberry lemonade while I waited for my order (which was less than 10 min!) in the 90 plus temps. Portion sizes are GENEROUS (see my pics). The food speaks for itself – insanely flavorful and tender chicken, lamb, and rice, and fresh lettuce. The sauces were perfect. We are definitely coming back for the smash burgers and loaded fries/tots.

Long overdue review. But these guys are one of our must stop places when we visit from Florida (Yes it’s us). And they always make us feel like family when we stop by. The food is just absolutely amazing. Arguably the best Halal we’ve ever had. There’s so much flavor with every bite. From the smash burgers to the platters. You just can’t go wrong. Maybe we’ll be in town the first week they open up their own restaurant. It’s become the norm at this point. Best of luck fellas. Don’t change too much fellas. It’s perfect as is.

Food was delicious!! It’s not just a regular hamburger the meat was actually seasoned and the special sauce was amazing! We also ordered the fully loaded fries and that portion is big enough for 3/4 people. We also ordered the rice but that we will eat after our long drive home. The staff/owner was super friendly and helpful with all my questions. A genuinely good person! We will definitely be coming here again when in town.
