We were in town for the weekend and we had the opportunity to dine here. By first look you cannot tell if the food will taste good or not but once you sit to eat the food, it was really good. We also had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were such humble and down to eart people.
We had naan and desi halwa puri and it was good. The naan were very fresh.

Amazing food and fantastic service! Halal Munchies in Johnstown is a hidden gem. Their gyros are incredibly flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients, and perfectly seasoned. The fried chicken wings are crispy, juicy, and have just the right amount of spice. And don’t even get me started on the waffles—they are light, fluffy, and a perfect match for their wings. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to stop by Halal Munchies. Highly recommended!

Recently moved from NYC and I was wondering if there is any good halal places in Johnstown. This place was slated to open for a few months but I recently saw the lights on and decided to give it a shot. OMG. Sooooooo delicious. It felt like I was back in NYC!! The chicken over rice was phenomenal. Well seasoned, heavy portions and the owner offered a GREAT pepper sauce that elevated the meal. A bit on the pricey side for Johnstown (just under $20 for a meal), but WELL worth the money. Inside was clean and the owner was extremely friendly and inviting. HIGHLY recommend.
