Visiting from Maryland and had an amazing experience! The employees are kind and helpful. The New York Style Chicken platter is amazing. The rice is flavorful and the white sauce is perfect. The portion size is enough for two meals. Will be back.

The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is super clean, and the food is delicious! Everything is reasonably priced especially for the amount of food they give you! I ordered the Matari special and barely put a dent on my meal even my two year old loved the food. I highly recommend ♥️

Waheed is the man, always hooks it up. You’re getting easily 2-3 meals worth of food where as other places give you barely half the portion for a higher price.

So happy we found this gem! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Newark. Everything we have tried on the menu is fantastic- hot, fresh ingredients, big quantity, and so delicious! My favorite is the chicken kefta! When I have friends or family visiting from out-of-town, we always pick up food from Halal Gyro Kabob House! Highly recommend!

I usually stop by here 2-3 times a month. They know what I want when I walk in the door. The restaurant is clean and well organized with friendly staff. The food is always hot, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. I’m not sure where they get the fries but they’re really good and great pita bread too. It’s the best kabob shop around.
