small food truck planted on the corner of Grand St and Bowery. the tiny cart serving up a menu of Middle Eastern styled rice platters as well as sandwiches. the cart looks clean and well-maintained, and is open from morning to night.
the menu prices range from $6 to $9. got a chicken over rice. the grill guy makes the food to order as the chicken tasted really good and well-seasoned. the container was packed with fluffy yellow rice and a chopped-up grilled chicken with a small amount of salad on the side. the flavors are really good and the rice soaks them all up–making the platter tasty and satisfying. the food is packed up nicely in a recyclable container.
the grill man is friendly and doesn’t rush your food.
