I’ve ordered from Halal Express multiple times through Uber Eats without any issues, but this was my first time going in person and unfortunately, it will be my last.
I watched the employee with glasses prepare my food with the same gloves he had just used to shake someone’s hand and handle packages. He did not change his gloves before touching my food. That is absolutely unacceptable and extremely unhygienic.
Food safety and cleanliness should be a top priority, especially in a restaurant setting. Now I can’t help but wonder how many times gloves weren’t changed while preparing customers meals. On top of all this the guy preparing the food had the audacity to lie in my face saying I changed my gloves while I was watching him the whole time
Very disappointed. Poor hygiene standards, and I will not be returning.

I have tried Halal Guys and Adels, but honestly, their chicken over rice is the best I had in the entire USA. I am absolutely hooked I have been eating it every day for the past four months! The staff is super friendly always welcoming and easy to talk to. The place is clean and their new green sauce is a total game changer, I love it!
