I ordered the lamb ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and they were amazing. The ribs were incredibly tender, soft, and fell right off the bone. They were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chicken Alfredo, which was super creamy and well seasoned without being heavy. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, which was a nice balance alongside the pasta.
We also ordered the chef’s burger with seasoned fries. The caramelized onions added so much flavor that I didn’t even feel like I needed a sauce, which says a lot because I usually do. For dessert, the carrot cake was delicious, especially the frosting.
A really nice touch was that they had Salaam Cola, which is always great to see at a halal restaurant. They also have a small market area with fridges for drinks and ice cream, plus shelves with sauces, beans, and other mini grocery items. It felt welcoming and convenient. The owners seemed like nice people too. Overall, great food and a great experience.

Paid almost $40 for a rack of lamb ribs that tasted extremely gamey and had 2x the amount of fat than meat. And the Mac n cheese tastes straight out of a box. Plus all that money for food they couldn’t even provide a fork. Looks good but don’t taste as such.
After eating a few pieces I decided to rinse the bbq off the meat to see what the pieces actually look like. 75% fat and 25% meat.

Im visiting from California. Came in around 1145pm drove 25 mins based off their Google reviews and pictures. Amd Halal Eastside Eats &market did not disappoint. I got a custom order that came out on a tray. A mix if you will ,consisting of a lobster tail and 2 lamb chops ,4 lamb ribs, rice ,veggies and tika masala with a side of butter sauce to dip the tika in. Sauces were tzaziki, hot honey , bang bang ( which i didn’t care for. But everything else was above good to fire. Ask them about adding a lobster tail for $22. And or do a custom tray. This ended up being about 60 plus tax. A small business that woukd love the opportunity to serve you. Come down, put down the fast food and come here and try something fresh and good. Prices are fair for what you get..its not cheap, but you dont wanna eat cheap..cheap usually isn’t good. American food, Indian food and over 30 years in the kitchen.

I ordered the lamb chop dinner on DoorDash and it was incredible! I ordered them medium rare and they were not overcooked. They were tender, flavorful, and the price was great for what you get. Loved the mashed potatoes and veggies that came with the chops. My husband got the beef patties and samosas, which were delicious and came with a tasty sauce. Consider me a regular! The food was fire.

As late-night visitors arriving from Toronto, we were absolutely craving a satisfying meal, and Halal Eastside Eats & Market was our first stop in Detroit. We are so glad we found this spot.
We ordered Cheese Pizza and the Eastside Meat Pizza, and I can confidently say neither disappointed. The Cheese Pizza was perfectly prepared, hot, gooey, and deeply satisfying. The Eastside Meat Pizza was the true standout loaded with Halal toppings. If you’re looking for flavorful Halal pizza, this is your destination.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was truly excellent. A huge shoutout to Mahi, who provided exceptional, friendly service and gave us great recommendations. His warmth and attention instantly made us feel welcome.
If you are visiting Detroit and find yourself craving halal pizza, you absolutely need to check out Halal Eastside Eats & Market. While we only tried the pizza, they have a wide range of items on the menu and based on what we tasted, we assume the rest of the menu is equally flavorful.

They will be seeing me again very soon. Just moved closer to downtown and found by his halal spot that is open later had to give it a try. Ribs melted right off the bone. The pizza was cheesy and hot and the meat on it was perfect. The lamb samosas weren’t available but the beef was delicious. The guy was super cool and nice and I appreciate it. Only thing that needs to be fixed was the Mac was not cheesy or flavored

The brisket and BBQ Lamb Ribs were like butter. The double smash burger and Chicken Tikka pizza were phenomenal. You could simply spin the spindle and order anything off the menu, and it would be delicious. A definite place to visit when in Detroit.

First time coming here, ordered chicken and lamb bowl, lobster egg rolls and Beef Patties, nice portion size couldn’t eat it all in one setting and I’m greedy so that’s saying a lot, very delicious and filling. Has a nice market inside also. Definitely will be returning.

I saw them on my fyp on Tiktok and so I stopped in… such nice customer service from both gentlemen, there was a few customers waiting/Ordering, it was Friday night around 730pm, they had a small hot food case that had different samosas….yall the beef and chicken were served with a avocado ranch type dip, fr very, very good 3 for $5… I keep thinking bout the beef ones….then I ordered the bbq beef brisket bowl with rice…$18.99 and it came with yellow rice, like 8 ounces of bbq brisket, and a small mixed ranch, tomato, cucumber, onion, lettuce salad on the side…this meat yall was SO SO SO good! So juicy, moist and just awesome! I ate 2 of 3 Samosas while waiting for my hot food to be prepared. I will never mind waiting for fresh food! In most of there tiktok reviews they’re known for their lamb chops and lamb shank, I will try that next! I grabbed a blue raspberry mango Lemonade from the little refrigerator, they have that has a variety of drinks and dessert options. This location is a hidden gem. I think there use to be one located in Troy (I may be wrong) but not near the same quality. I had to come back and edit that, they’re open until 2am and also all there food is halal. Two great things! Chrck this place out, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
Edit: This location is not affiliated with any other NYC Halal Eats Locations, owner did confirm and clarify! This was not a paid review, I am a local guide who loves food, also I own a bakery in Troy and admire trying new foods and resturants all around michigan! Definitely a hidden gem location! Will be back ASAP, still thinking of those hot and spicy delicious beef samosas! Wish you much Luck and Success and with this type of service and food, you will go very far! Thank you for serving me!
