TO THE MANAGER PLEASE COME TO THE FRONT!!!!
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to share my experience with a recent order I placed from Hala Bros Grill on Utica. Unfortunately, the meal I received did not match my order, and I encountered several issues.I had ordered lamb over rice with vegetables and requested the sauce on the side. However, the instructions were not followed correctly. One of the bowls had significantly less meat than the other, and the sauce was not provided on the side as requested, especiallyif i called when i put in the order. Instead, it was placed on the wrong meal.Additionally, the lamb itself didn’t taste fresh it seemed off and had an unpleasant flavor, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal I couldn’t even eat the food it sent me straight to the bathroom.I understand that mistakes can happen, but this experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the cost $45. I would appreciate a refund or some form of compensation for this order.

Food is absolutely great. Customer service could be better. Place is wonderful. The workers are not There was like three females, and they all had bad attitudes like if they didn’t even want to work therethey don’t make you feel welcomed when you walk in the store they do not greet you no hello welcome to halal bros can I take your order? You literally have to walk in there and say hello A few times for one of the workers to actually notice you or get your attention just for me to say I would like to order.

Me and some of my cousins went looking for food after a wedding and had a 2 hour drive home. We found this place by pure accident. We got 2 jerk chicken gyros and bowls. Every single one of us loved our food, it was so good. Especially the jerk chicken everything was worth the price, even the fries. The service was even more spectacular, some of the nicest people in service. If I ever go back to New York I know I’m stopping there.

I love this place. It’s a hole in the wall but the food is fresh and delicious. Fresh turkey wings beef ribs collards greens green beans mac n cheese yams plus fried items fish chicken. Every items is tasty not over seasoned. Not over priced. Good potions. Whenever I go to Brooklyn it is my go to place.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL food. We got a family platter of chicken and rice and a side of jerk chicken. It was the best food I’ve had in a very long time.
Salad was delicious, everything was fresh and wrapped so perfectly. The sauces were so yummy, I’d eat here every damn day if I could.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m not sure what else to do at this point.
I placed a delivery order a few weeks ago and, after waiting 45 minutes, it was cancelled and never arrived. I’ve called the store on 8 different occasions to try to get a refund and each time have been told either that their system is down, that I will be refunded in a couple days, that they will call me back, or to call back when the manager is in.
When I finally spoke to the manager, Kenny, he said he couldn’t issue the refund on his end and would have to get the owner, Bobby, to do it. He said that I would be refunded the next morning and that he would call me after it was processed. That call never happened and I never got refunded. And now when I called last they told me Kenny is on vacation.
It should not be this difficult to be issued a refund for an order that they cancelled and that I never received.

The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. I like that it’s ready immediately. My one complaint was that I couldnt hear the employee talking to me at all. She was very quiet and it was hard to hear through the plexiglass. Otherwise perfect.
