Wow! So great! Got to try this place and the owner and the chef were sooo sweet and so down to earth. I’m grateful I met them. We tried the chicken + lamb kabob and it was delicious. Very flavorful, very juicy! The hummus was very smooth. The black tea was so comforting.

The ladies who run and cook here make you feel like family. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know them personally:
Eman is amazing—if I tell her, “Make me something special with love,” she always surprises me with something incredible.
Azza has a bright, friendly personality that lights up the whole place, and she works so hard to make sure every guest feels welcome.
Sona is always smiling and cheerful, adding to the warm, inviting atmosphere.

The food here was delicious – the first time I visited I had the lamb liver, and the second time I had the gyro platter. I went with my brother and he is somewhat of a picky eater and thought the food was great. I think he had the chicken shawarma both times. Their hot sauce was really good as well. Both times my brother and I shared the hummus platter as an appetizer and I wish I had gotten a picture because it was beautiful and tasted so fresh. The Turkish coffee was excellent both times.
As far as the service, everyone was very friendly and attentive and we will be visiting when we go back in a few weeks. I definitely recommend Hala for flavorful Mediterranean food and friendly staff.

It’s our second time here and usually just get dessert and Turkish coffee. One day we’ll try the food but we forget to go there until I crave coffee late at night. The Kanafe is the best I’ve ever had and their baklava is extremely delicious as well! We will be going back often!
