Amazing food and super friendly vibe!
Hakuna Matata 2 never disappoints. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made to order — you can taste the quality in every bite.
The chicken shawarma is a must-try, perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the place is always clean and inviting.
If you don’t mind a short wait for fresh food, it’s 100% worth it. Definitely one of my go-to spots for great Middle Eastern food and good vibes. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite spot for shawarma in IL. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. When it’s cold out they give free cups of 3adas while you wait for your food. Their service isn’t just kind, it’s quick – even during a big Ramadan rush my food was ready in under 20 minutes! I also love the portions and pricing, $15 for double the amount of shawarma you get anywhere else is a reason to keep coming back

Honestly, I really like their shawarma here. It’s a local spot, relatively close, but also relatively clean. I love how they make their bread fresh right in front of your eyes, and the service here is great. The food tastes amazing too.
