This legendary Sunday brunch AYCE lives up to its hype. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Las Vegas. Fortunately we booked way in advance for the 1st sitting (10:30 am) & pleasantly surprised there were no time limits or other restrictions on what you can order. Service was exemplary – friendly, helpful & we were constantly checked on & asked if replenishments were necessary. The restaurant is beautifully appointed & even though we were placed in a nice quiet secluded area, staff were constantly checking in so we never had to call out.

The main draw is of course the food. Top quality in terms of freshness & taste – the variety was not too large but definitely sufficient & the range of dim sum as well as cooked dishes was outstanding. We stayed for over 2 hours & basically tried everything on the menu. Difficult to single out any particular dish as all items were delicious. Reasonably priced (even though it increased recently from $48 to $58), the drinks package is also worth considering. If you are in Las Vegas on a Sunday- do not give this a miss! Reservations absolutely necessary.

The food was alright, Har Gau and Siu Mai was the spotlight. All foods’ presentation looks nice, but tastes salty on most of them. The hand pull noodle was a scam. We were expecting an actual hand pull noodle, but turns out it’s just a chow mein with a little more flavor than Panda Express, especially it’s definitely NOT hand pulled. Our server wasn’t really paying attention on our table. We wait 10 mins for 2 extra tea cups. We asked for extra tea cups when we start ordering the food, and we got our tea cups after the food arrived. We were asking about the cucumbers and scallion pancake that wasn’t on the menu, and turns out those are the appetizers that we supposed to receive before we start ordering. Also in what world you serve that scallion pancake COLD??? After we finish our first pot of tea, we wait for 15mins and asked three different people to get us another pot, I don’t understand what makes it so difficult to just get another pot of tea. I order all these items that cost extra, do I even care about another pot might charge extra? And don’t even mentioning that we were celebrating my mother in law’s birthday, cause NO ONE EVEN CARES! I made note when I booked reservations, no one ever asked anything about what are we here for, no one has ever stopped by and say happy birthday to my mother in law. Can’t believe this happens in a fine dining like this. Will never be back again. Very disappointed.

Hakkasan: Hakkasan is a luxury Chinese restaurant brand, famous for earning multiple Michelin stars, and its name, invented by founder Alan Yau, combines “Hakka” (referencing Chinese migrants from northern China) with the Japanese honorific “-san,” meaning “Mr./Ms.,” to show deep respect for his heritage and people sharing similar traits, creating a blend of Cantonese roots with modern, upscale global luxury.

Social media brought us here and I’m glad they did. We came for the Sunday-only AYCE Dim Sum Brunch for $58/pp. As someone who doesn’t enjoy AYCE or buffets usually, not having the biggest appetite, this is one I would gladly go back to. Did I eat my worth? No. But did I enjoy myself? Yes! Get the Duck Salad, the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp, the HK Fried Chicken, and the Siu Mai. You won’t be disappointed as long as you remember that you might not be getting the most authentic Cantonese experience but you will be getting amazing flavors.

I really enjoyed Hakkasan. I want to come back!

I’ve NEVER said this!!! If I could give 6 stars to Hakkasan I would. The quality of the food was worth every dollar. The level of service was comparable of a Michelin star rated restaurant and the atmosphere is sexy and sophisticated. An absolutely perfect way to kick off an evening in Vegas.
For appetizer I ordered the Seafood Har Gau from the Dim Sum menu and it was sooo good I ate it all before even thinking about taking a photo for this review. The dough of the dumpling was thin and delicate. The seafood filling was perfectly balanced and topped off with caviar giving it a hint of salt amongst a burst of langoustine in every bite. The portion is perfect for an appetizer.
From there, I enjoyed the Coconut Crusted Soft Shell Crab and Salt and Pepper Calamari from the Shared Plates menu. Once again I could not find anything negative to say. The breading and seafood combination are well thought out on both dishes.
As an entree I had the Crispy Duck Salad from the appetizer menu and Crab Sweet Corn Soup. The crispy duck salad was presented as an art piece. The colors and beauty in the variety of ingredients were as equally pleasing to the eye as the dish was to the pallete. I am a huge soup fan and the crab sweet corn soup was not heavy but rather a light broth bursting with flavors. It is a nice compliment to any dish.
I was too full to order dessert but the table across from me ordered the Hakka Platter and I instantly regretted not being able to try it. It is served on what looked like a triangular stone with fog pouring over the entire table. It was a beautiful presentation. Their website does showcase their menu and many of the option have photos including this dessert.
I highly recommend checking out their menu in advance and making this a must visit restaurant during your Vegas vacation. I can’t wait to go back and sample more dishes… Who am I kidding?!?! I can’t wait to sample ALL the dishes!

Did someone say Endless Dim Sum Brunch with ambience on weekends?! Jacob, our server, was extremely helpful along with his other colleagues who were on it with removing empty plates and keeping us hydrated. We had a plethora of dishes. If we had enough room to try each and every dish, we would have. You can probably skip the complimentary bread.

We went for the AYCE brunch special. Great selection of dishes. The service was excellent and unrushed, with the waiter coming over frequently to check on us and getting our next round of orders.

All of the dishes were fresh, none looked or tasted like they’d been under heat lamps.

There is a wide selection of dishes so everyone will find something suitable.

When we went to Hakkasan, the place was super busy we could barely hear each other talk. But the food? Are you kidding me? So good. The sea bass is our absolute favorite. Me and my friend loved it so much we ordered it twice.

If you’re a dim sum lover, you should definitely come here. Just a heads-up: most of their dim sum has shrimp, so if you’re allergic, I wouldn’t recommend those. But there are plenty of other dishes worth trying especially that sea bass.

We also ordered the oysters, and the Peking duck bao was really good. You guys should try the Hakka basket, too. And for dessert, the Hakka platter is a must it comes out with smoke and looks so cool.

Overall, loud but totally worth it for the food and experience!

This was an absolute amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was so friendly and supportive; they make you feel so welcome. I truly felt like they cared about us being there. The food was top of the line and the Hakka platter dessert was brilliantly done with the presentation as well as the taste. There was not a single food item that wasn’t delicious! They gave my mother a birthday welcome and even helped us celebrate with a card and dessert complete with a candle to blow out. Truly an unforgettable evening!
