Street parking around here can be a headache. There’s a small lot behind the restaurant I sometimes try. The inside of Hakata Ramen is tight and can get pretty busy, but the vibe is what you’d expect for the area. The staff is honestly the best part. They are welcoming and move fast.

I have been here a handful of times and it is a reliable choice for comfort food. They have these daily bento specials with ramen, sushi, and appetizers that look like a great deal. I tried, but they are intriguing. The main downside is the broth quality compared to the price. There are definitely more authentic ramen spots in the city if you are a purist. You can tell the base is not a homemade tonkatsu broth, which is a bit of a letdown for what they charge. Still, it is a decent spot for a quick meal.

• Tempura Ramen (7/10): The tempura is a total highlight because it is served on a separate plate to keep it from getting soggy, though the broth itself is fairly standard.

The restaurant is connected to other small restaurants with a few tables and is popular with takeout. The building has some parking in the back and connects through the kitchen.

The service is great and our server refilled our waters often. Something cool they have here is weekday combos. On Thursday, I got the combo that included a small Philadelphia roll, beef rice and spicy pork ramen. The ramen is regular sized with the other items app sized. The beef is really good and I’ll want to get that as a meal next time. The ramen had a good spice level to it and has good flavor. Add this to your list for Quincy restaurants.

Ramen is delicious! Service is quick and attentive. Price is reasonable for the portions. Seating is limited during busy hours, but turnover is quick here. Add this to your list and try this place out if you need a hearty and warming meal.

I ordered the gyu don ($16) for take-out and wasn’t disappointed. The taste was good, and the portion size was very filling (definitely heavier on the rice, but there was a decent amount of beef as well). My only comment is that I wish they included pickled ginger and less oil.

Five stars for Hakata Ramen! The ramen is very, very tasty, and the sushi is super fresh. A must-visit for ramen lovers and sushi enthusiasts alike. Exceptional flavors and quality ingredients make this spot a top choice!

Ramen was mediocre, straight up boiled egg in the ramen which is a new one. Sushi was surprisingly good. Yellowtail maki and california roll.

Chasu was okay, noodles and broth are bland. Would have rather went somewhere else for ramen.

Really disappointed by the food here. We picked up 2 ramens for my husband and myself. Noodles were okay but a little undercooked and broth was underwhelming. On top of this (literally), the egg was overcooked (the yolk was yellow & gray) and there was a massive handful of raw spinach thrown on top. Meat was skimpy, too. I was so hoping to find a new ramen spot but unfortunately we won’t be returning.

I ordered teriyaki salmon and my husband got a Ramen, both were not worth it. The noodles for my dish were cold in large parts–not room temperature, COLD–it’s like they barely bothered to heat it up. The salmon itself was lukewarm. Even aside from that, the food itself was very mediocre in taste and portion.

My husband’s ramen was akin to a getting a slightly nicer cup noodle from H-Mart, it’s not horrible but if they’re asking you to pay the price of a proper ramen bowl in America and giving this? It strains credulity.

I would never go here again.

The fastest ramen place, I have been to. I ordered miso Soup, Avocado sushi and kara age. Within few minutes, the miso Soup and sushi was on the table. We had ordered veggie ramen and that was served steaming hot pretty quick. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. The food was food.
The only thing I would have loved to see is more chicken based ramen soups. The broth for most of them was pork.
But the other than, it’s place worth visiting. The prices are decent and place is nice.
