absolutely awesome! One of, if not the best cinnamon rolls I have ever hade (and I got the GF one!)!! Stumbled into this place and was blown away. Tons of customization options and the owner was very friendly and chill. Recommended to anyone who needs a reason to smile!

I am truly kicking myself for living so close to this place and not trying it sooner. What an absolute delight, clearly made with so much meticulous craft and love. Tucked away and very easy to miss but easily one of my favorite desserts in town.
And I feel like I must make a point of saying that I am not vegan, so I’d give this place more than 5 stars for creating something that transcends my usual craving for dairy based desserts!

This cute and heart (and belly) warming establishment takes family run to the next level. It is tucked away in a set of amazing food carts, like a gem just out of reach, but if you are lucky enough to be able to pay them a visit, you will undoubtedly be rewarded by what I can only describe as a personalized meal corriente, as opposed to a generic product. My only complaint it that the location’s parking lot has many potholes, but by the time you take a bite, you’ll completely forget where you are.

Quite simply the finest vegan cinnamon roll (in all of Portland) that your mouth could dream of devouring. On my first visit I purchased two different types. The one that I took a photo of is called lunchbox. This nostalgic gastronomic delight starts with a cinnamon roll foundation and his topped with peanut butter sauce, strawberry sauce, and crumbled salty potato chips. Absolutely delectable and delicious.

I popped into the shop today with a friend. Our cinnamon rolls were out of this world! Full of whimsy and sprinkles! Both of them were absolutely delightful. Did we walk away with a punch card? You better believe it!
The owner was working and we got to chat with them about their dreams coming true. I am so glad we get to be part of it .
Definitely keep your eyes peeled for their vegan market! So many great local artists and creative folks coming out with vegan treats!

Hail Snail is an incredible little shop where everything is delicious. I’m fully and completely serious. They’re inventive and interesting, and their little ‘snail’ atmosphere is quirky. They’re so cool looking and *honestly* Instagram worthy every time, if that’s something important to you. Plus! It’s very rare to find somewhere that the gluten free options taste just as good as the standard. Snail knocks it out of the park. We’ve been going almost once a week for a little while, and just finished today’s. Looking forward to going next week already.

Seriously the best gluten free cinnamon roll I’ve ever had hands down! And one of the best vegan and gluten-free dessert places in Portland! I wish they were open later as I typically get the desire for dessert later in the evening. Please stay open late a couple of times a week! I want one right now but it’s after 5 considering proposing the they have me to work there from 5-11pm Thursday to Sunday! This place is a gift to the world! And the owner is rad!

The Veganuary special, Cajun Snail, had a lil piece of chick’n and a drizzle of hot vegan honey, AMAZING!!!
The Bee Snail appears to be on their menu regularly and was also delicious.
